yes but the ones that have been making that decision have been questionable. last year there wasnt much fa available plus there were moths coming out of wallets after the big trade

personally i would take mcgary and powers and also draft a tackle, guard/center or all 3. theres a few guys in the draft that have experience at multiple positions

i wouldnt trade juedy but if i did, i wouldnt be taking a running back in the first. theres rb talent all over this draft. we also need safety help,dline, ilb, olb (cant rely on gregory) and possibly cb help.

I think Denver is going spend a lot money in FA this week not many draft picks this year that are high in first two rounds so I expect Denver to land some high end tier FA.

RT- gotta sign one of McGary, McGlinchey, Taylor, or Elemunour. All are upgrades. Elemunour would be the bargain signing that can pay off big time.

C- I think this position is more important than LG. We desperately need an anchor to our line. Ben Jones, Pocic, McGovern are all good options. Gotta get one of these guys, I prefer Ben Jones.

LG- I’m kind of ho-hum on this position even when Risner signs elsewhere. We need one, badly, but I think this can be filled in the draft. If we’re looking at FA Ben Powers is the guy, or you wait for one of Andrus Peat or Shaq Mason to get cut. If you don’t land a center, sign a LG and look for the other in the draft.

D-Line- real simple. You give Jones a legitimate offer (15-16 mill per year) and if he chases money elsewhere so be it. If you lose him you 100% have to land a guy like Zach Allen. Honestly, I’d prefer we double up here and sign a combo of Allen and Greg Gaines or A-Shawn Robinson. Or Allen and Ogunjobi. If all else fails throw a 3rd at New Orleans for Cam Jordan. You CANNOT lose Jones and replace him with mid FAs.

ILB- I’m a big fan of retaining Singleton for 4-5 mill per year if possible. He and Jewell work well together and for cheap. ILBs seem to get pricier every year so keep this tandem together for a bargain and draft a mid-round guy to develop.

DBs- I think we will see zero regression replacing Jackson with Sterns or Locke. Heck could be an upgrade. I wouldn’t worry about signing anyone here.

CB- I wouldn’t spend big here as I think Mathis can be that Forum guy and Williams is a great slot. I’d look for a bargain depth guy here like Bradley Roby.

We DO NOT need to allocate any funds towards WR, TE, or OLB. We’ve got great depth at all these positions and some current guys are just gonna have to step up.

I totally don’t plan on Paton doing this right. As I feel he is the worst GM in the league and possibly the history of this franchise. I’m really hoping Sean Payton has more influence.
