Vance blitzes a lot, I do not think he employs the typical SS vs FS, he need two excellent coverage guys at the safety position. Little pricey, but man what a pairing!

Simmons has played in the box as well as single high FS in Cover 1, deep halves in Cover 2, deep thirds in Cover 3 and deep quarters in Cover 4. He is versatile and Gardner-Johnson may be as well. VJ will line them up in all the coverages he uses in what he thinks is the best spot for them.

Isn't he a free safety like Simmons?
