  • 2023 Draft

Round 3 = Please draft the best RB and Center
    Round 4 = Best DL
    Round 5= Best CB
    Round 6 = Best WR

Just need to Sign Flemming as our Swing Tackle.

Guess I really don't care about round 4,5 & 6....but I really think a solid running Back and a decent Center along with re-signing a swing tackle is the most important thing left to do.
Depth at corner is always a plus. Sorry, Also....depth at DL is really important too. Maybe Cialis { sp? } Cambell

Going to be interesting to see how the center position is evaluated. Cushenberry, Fuller and Wattenberg are all currently signed. Coaches may think that is enough. We shall see?

I would love to see a RB chosen with one of the 3rds. But the other I could see DL early or maybe even a LB or hybrid S/LB type.

As you stated, still FA work to be done around the edges. A couple of key signings at OT, Dline or vet RB could alter the draft.

Also looks like CB depth might be needed with the Hicks arrest over the weekend. Guessing he is not in the big picture plans and might be easier to just cut him then deal with any potential media fallout. Hoping he is an isolated incident and not the first of the Broncos off-season transgressions. Be smart out there gentleman.

Didn't see the Hicks thing...who's are starter next to Surtain ? I figured it was going to be that short due we drafted...he showed out pretty good for a rookie. Thought we might be good with the LB's as we have the two thumpers in the middle with Griffin coming back from injury. In regards to the Center position. I know we have those three...but sometimes....rookies can come in surprise everyone. Didn't see much from Wattenburg, although I admit he was not properly coached before being put on the field. I swear, our coaching staff just started throwing shtit at the walls just to see what stuck.

            Damari Mathis.....couldn't remember his name on my first post, but that's him. He got burned a few times last year, but settled down and played really well. We'll still have K'Wan Williams who is really good in the slot, but he can never stay healthy. We definitely need a draft pick on another corner. { or two }

Might even be available as an UDFA.

Sean Payton's first draft as Denver Broncos head coach will not start until the third round. The Broncos' lack of 2023 NFL draft selections is a product of…

This article agrees with my thoughts. At least some of them.

it doesnt have to be in that order though

if joe tippmann is there with first 3rd get him.

you could go blake freeland or wait for a couple of other tackles later

zach harrison as an edge and theres a few others

theres several good running backs through out the draft. dont need to draft one in the 3rd necessarily

                      just for examples

honestly id like the to trade down with one of the 2 3rds and pick up more

Hope to get a center and inside linebacker. They're our two biggest weaknesses.

Maybe an OT or guard, depending on what the Broncos do between now and the draft if they are still combing the available free agents.

No particular position preference for the rest of the picks.

Edge, Corner and RB seem deep in all rounds. In the third round some decent OL/DL prospects might still be there at 67 & 68 like Schmitz C, Bergeron T and Ika NT.

At 108, RBs like Kenny McIntosh, Kendre Miller, Chase Brown and Evan Hull might still be there. Edge defenders like Zach Harrison, Yaya Diaby and Byron Young might still be available as well. CB Darius Rush might fall this far, too.

We'll see who they can find at 139 and 195 (maybe Mohamoud Diabate LB Utah?). There should still be some good players available as UDFAs like specialists, Fullbacks, Backers and Safeties.

i doubt schmitz will be there but im hoping joe tippman is. nik broeker should be there between 150-200 and he can play all 3 interior positions. ricky stromberg is another center.

i think zach harrison. would be a good fit. but there will be some other edges.

super deep draft for rb. my preferences are for izzy and hull

we need some safety help as well as corner

the only way to address all of these in the draft is to trade down with one of the first 2 picks. there really are ways to get all of these positions with how this draft is. i was slightly down because we have no picks until the third but once i started digging and found how deep this draft *could* be i was a lot happier. draft is one of my favorite parts of the year

one thing i forgot to mention. with how much we have spent on payroll we need as many talented draft picks as we can get.

Wish we still had our high pick... Would've been all in on Will Levi's.
