They could be, I doubt all of them come out however. Maye and Williams are the consensus top guys and barring an injury or a serious regression I don’t expect that to change. Some of these guys won’t want to be 3rd or 4th QB taken or even lower so I don’t think guys like Ewers and even Sanders will come out. Penix is an older prospect with a real injury history so I do think he’ll drop a bit even though he’s very talented.

I will add Spencer Rattler to the list though. I think going to South Carolina has been good for him and down the stretch last season he showed some real growth. They lost to UNC but he had a real good game considering the lack of talent around him. If he continues to protect the ball while playing to his strengths I can easily see him working his way back into first round consideration.

Maybe, if they are guaranteed a 1st round selection it'd be hard to stay. There's always the possibility of injury or regression. Turning down 1st round QB money would be hard. Ewers fits in that argument for sure. If he has a good year, and looking like he will he'll be almost certainly guaranteed a top 15 pick. Hard to say no to that.

Just watched Nix throw a perfect ball for a TD against Texas Tech. I believe he's a senior? He'll be in the draft and looking like a top 5-10 pick. His accuracy is spot on and at the moment this guy is the one I want in Denver. Denver has no chance at Maye or Williams but a trade up for the 3rd or 4th guy could be had

He also had another bad decision where he tried to throw the ball to a spot while in the air and just couldn’t get enough on it and it almost resulted in a INT that would’ve put LSU in the redzone. But I do see what he was going for as the WR was breaking toward a lot of space just behind those defenders. It seems to me like he wants to get something out of every single play, and I’d like to see him learn to live to fight another down as this season wears on. I think he understands not every play is going to be a TD, but he seems to not want to accept that some plays aren’t worth trying to save.

His ability to throw on the run really is something else. A lot of QBs will throw their footwork out the window when on the run, but Travis on that throw to Wilson right there showed that he’s still cognizant of it even when everything is breaking down around him. His back foot plants down almost the exact opposite way it was when he was scrambling, it was way past a 90 degree angle to set it. A lot of QBs are just going to try and arm through that and it’ll be off target most of the time, instead Travis hit him right on the money and he’s done that a lot tonight. Now it isn’t always the prettiest spiral and it’s definitely cost him some yards because the WRs dropped it but he can be a top guy.
He's impressive I would love that guy if he somehow found his way in Denver. Not only his on field but off field he's very humble and just likable. I'll be following him a lot this year. I think he will continue to grow as the season wears on. He does make you hold your breath at times trying so hard to keep the play alive but shoot sometimes it works for him so I can't be mad at that. In the nfl that will get him eaten for lunch so he does need to learn to move on to the next play and not put himself in position to take those extra hits.
            :go:

If things go as bad this season as they appear to, Denver has a real opportunity to build for the future. Hypothetically, let's say Denver gets the top pick. In the upcoming draft the QB class is ridiculous. Obviously Williams is the guy everyone wants but behind him are really, REALLY good options too. Denver could trade back and get multiple high picks and reload the team.

Just imagine a Trade Back Scenario if Denver were to land the Number 1 Spot I just hope GM Paton is not in Denver by this time lol anyways I got side tracked lol Denver trades down to draft the QB from the Buffs in S.Sanders and then Drafts Travis Hunter Epic.
