Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

also, Iowa isn't even in the top 10 and it pretty much has the same crap Nebraska has minus a large city like Omaha.
I have a buddy who lives in Nebraska. He's 6-2 and hovers around 210 -- he's a personal trainer and he's pretty ripped. He's also the only Black guy in the entire town, everybody knows who he is.

I actually live in the boon docks and it is redneck central but they are funny and friendly. The other day a guy I know actually said to me. "dude I was watching the food channel the other night. Did you know raisin come from grapes?"
We have plenty of minoritys Mexicans included. I was so glad when they moved in, I missed Mexican food so much.. and you're right this is a quality derailment.

i know what you are getting at but that's not the only reason why the economy and price of living is so good here.
Texas is an even cheaper state to live in and that place has tons of stuff to do, at least compared to Nebraska.

Hey Baph,
Des Moines is a little bit bigger than Omaha.
I just had to make an emergency trip out to Colorado. And like usual we drove. And I've driven that route (I-80) too many times now.
Actually, my current town (for the next 3 weeks or so) is almost as big as Omaha. The Quad Cities is around 400,000 to 500,000 in size. I think Omaha is slightly larger, but not by much.
Have you been to the Tom Dooley Zoo? It might be the best in the nation! I'm not joking. The 2 large indoor buildings are some of the best I've ever seen.

oh ya i forgot about des moines
but, did you mean the henry doorly zoo? yeah i have been there.
Zoo? You guys have got to be kidding me. You wanna know where a good zoo is? Investco Field, the place is a freak show. Of course it's only truly open 8 days a year, but once inside, you'll see all sorts of delusional individuals who actually think that NoShow is going to be a quality RB. Anyone who knows anything about football will tell you that, out of all of the backs that were in the AFCW last year, Bush made the best showing.
I know, I know, it sounds kinda ROD'ish to me too. But seriously, the zoo?

Ha S&B!
You do know if any group of fans more closesly resembled a zoo, it would have to be the fans of the Black Hole!
Hey look kiddo's, its a zebra man. And look there, someone who thinks he's a pirate. Oh, look, a GWAR wanna be...
Seriously, every states got it's things to do. Some, much more than others. E.g. I had a great time Canoeing the Niobrara river in Nebraska.
E.g. pt2 best biker parties in the nation (according to most Biker's I've known) happen in Iowa.
Being close to Chicago and other large midwest cities is great. But some things cannot be found in a city...

Road bikes, as in pedals? RAGBRAI!!!!! I love that ride!
I didn't know about RAGBRAI. Some of the Doctors my wife works with party hard when the go to the bicycle races. (You would think Doctors would practice what they preach!)
But, I actually was talking about bikers as in MotorCycles. Not my crowd mind you, but some of those guys are real party animals. Nice guys away from the scene, a lot more scary on the scene.
