And when predictions are late, we call them wrong. Tell you what, I predict that a large asteroid will hit the earth at 20:00 PST tonight. Using your logic, there's no way that I can be wrong.
Oak drafts fast. Not big, fast, athletic genetic oddities. Not even in terms of football, but just human evolution, Merriman is a rare breed.

As for the late predictions, mine are only about a year late. Not centuries.

The fact he played almost every game, shows how far ahead of schedule Merriman was.

He will be back to form in 2010 as a top 3 defensive player. It's not that my prediction was wrong, just 1 year late. Meanwhile Doom will be back to being Elvis. You know a solid player with little impact. Den fans are about to learn Nolan made Elvis look good and their entire defense.
LOL, thats funny, Nolan didnt help Doom that much, Martindale did and there really close, invited him to the Pro Bowl. Merriman isnt a top 3 defensive player, you must be joking, unless he's back on the roids. I'll take Ware, Allen, Harrison, Troy, Reed, Revis, Woodson, those are just a few off the top i take over Merriman.

First, you're an idiot if you truly hold that opinon. Second, and once again, roids made him a rare breed, just like it did to McGuire, Bonds, Romanowski, etc... He's mortal now, he proved that last year and he'll offer up more proof in '10.

You'll see how much Nolan had to do with it. Not a positional coach. Nolan is the scheme, the philosophy, the game plan. Positional coach is just the technique, the education behind the position, the physical preparation.

Merriman now is not top 3. But prior to being injured he was.

Who is the best defensive player in the NFL right now? We asked our experts to answer that question.

USA today also had a bit.

Really?? So playing as much as he did on a serious injury 1 year later with tendon injury and the severity of the injury and surgery proves he is mortal??

Yeah right!! Sorry Mcguire, Bonds and Roman are not even in the same evolutionary branch as Merriman. Even When Merriman came out of college and his rookie year, when 0 chemical influence.

Why are you fighting a known fact??

You're in for a world of pain in the future when Merriman doesn't live up to your expectations for him.

Do your self a little bit of a favor. Look up tendon injuries. And what you will find out, is that because he is somewhat big and strong, his tendon will never heal enough to allow fast. And if he pushes it, it will retear.

But go ahead and believe that your superman, will save the Bolt universe. Must be nice to live in super hero comic land.

I'll make a prediction for you. He retires from football in less than 5 years. Medical odds are on my side.

What about your before season predictions for us? What about your predictions of how Merriman would do last year? Dummervil would do? Our defense would do? How Orton would do? How LT would do? How SD would win the SB? How Cro would do? Etc...

One very very lucky guess and you are a prophet...
