Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

SD had a much more successful season than Den and has the past 4 years, that's a fact.
To say the 0-16 Lions had as much success as the 16-0 PATS because they both didn't win the SB that year is stupid.
The Pats were outdone in the Superbowl by a brilliant defensive gamplan, not some first round home game to a team that snuck in the back door. New England-Detroit is a lousy comparison to what's being said here.
Trust me, if the Chargers won 2 playoff games this past postseason, more respect for their season would be given. It's the facts. Comparing to 0-16 or 5-11 or even 8-8 teams doesn't erase the fact that they were one and done again and should NOT have lost that game, or all their playoff losses except for the Steelers game. It's why we keep saying "all that talent, 0 results." We're not being sarcastic when we say the Chargers have a lot of talent. It's not just a setup for the "0 results" punchline either.

SD should not of beat the 17-0 Pats in 07.
SD in the past 4 years has lost 2 playoff games they should of won. Upsets happen. They both were 3 point losses. Those kinds of things happen in the playoffs. Teams are in the playoffs for a reason.
06 Pats and 09 Jets were the #2 and #1 defenses for a reason.
I'd understand if SD was losing by 14 points in games they should win to average defenses.
It's no excuse. But it's reality. SD has won games in the playoffs they weren't favored, they lost games they were favored, they almost won games they weren't favored and they almost won games they were favored.
Success is success.
SD had a more successful season than Den, Oak or KC. That is a fact. It doesn't matter what SD failed to do, it's about what they did do that those teams didn't.
