It's been my experience though that laziness is darn near hard-wired into someone's DNA and not something that can be turned around too dramatically for any length of time. I hope I'm wrong.
yeah, if he had good work ethic he could be one of the best. at least (for you guys) it appears that he is in shape and at least trying to keep his job.

why don't they bring in a vet to show him how to be a professional NFL QB? he needs that badly.

I think that's why Davis brought in Hugh Jackson and paired Russell up with a "former Raider"...Romanowski?

i am confused.....how exactly can wolverine help russel be a better QB?? oh i get it! motivation by fear? i like this new outside the box method i think.

seriously though, i think he needs an NFL QB to mentor him, not just a coach. rivers had drew brees (for example) and i think it helped him tremendously.

There's Plunkett, Stabler and that's about it. Gannon got used to slamming Davis pretty hard on national TV, and then he offered to help Davis. Gee, wonder why Davis turned him down!

I think that you're right though. Were I Davis, I probably would've considered hiring Holmgren to come in and work with him last year. Thinking about it though, bringing in anyone, QB or coach, who wasn't going to be part of the Raider organization long term, would be seen by Davis as a weakness. No way Davis is going to do that. Good times, good times.

Aye eye eye. This is were being a novice fan is detrimental. Has nothing to do with the QB in Den, it's the system. The short intermediate routes in soft zones and cushin coverage.

BM is basically a big black version of Wes Welker and Wes Welker is highly overrated. BM is better in terms of YAC.

VJ had a better season with 40 plus less receptions, THAT's ALOT! It really isn't that close. For novices, yeah absolutely.

AJ knock it off. Drafting all these studs that other teams MUST HAVE!

GOSH!!! That 3rd will come in handy.
And yet your team will continue to underachieve and pop their cork well before the playoffs are over.
Fire Rick Dennison - This Signature will stay until the worst playcaller in the NFL is gone.

I just don't get the whole argument about "fading in the playoffs" vs. "not even making the playoffs". It just seems so desperate.

Ok, you do know that football's a sport that's played on a big, rectangular field, right?

Well see if you get this: 2 SB vs. 0 SB. We've been there, and no matter how hard San Diego tries, they'll not win a SB in the next 50 years.
