  • Charger fans hiding their fear

In response to the thread "Bronco fans hiding their pain" I give you this thread.

The obcession of a few bolt fans, made me realise that some of the them are afraid of us!!!

See, man has a tendency to fear the unknown.

The bolt fans do not like our positions in the next 2 years drafts. A lot of future unknowns there.

The bolt fans also don't like the direction that Josh is taking us, because they don't understand it.

Again the bolts fear us, because the stars they love to hate are gone. Future unknown stars are waiting to light up the sky.

Just like the early season start and rebuilt defense had them confused last year, they fear this new unknown team. It is not the enemy they are used too.

The fact that we are becoming larger, stronger and more team oriented has shown wrinkles of fear across thier worried brows.
I can hear them thinking "Where have the finesse Broncos team of old gone?"

The new Broncos are the stuff of NightMares for the Bolts. Too much dark, spooky unknowns. Beware the NightMares glowing red eyes...

Yeah like Ayers lit it up or Smith, or Moreno.

Yeah it's lining up alright. Yet some how what did Josh do?? He signed a bunch of old, outcast, washed up, depth players through FA to be starters and got rid of proven productive players for draft picks that Den hasn't done much with lately and the things some might argue they did do with those draft picks where traded away.

SD doesn't fear Den, honestly we have closer games vs OAK then DEN.

Den is a poster child of a lack of consistency. From player turn overs year in and year our, different DC's every year. Old players, bad trades, questionable drafts. Honestly there is nothing to fear.

We just find it humorous that fans of a team who has had 2 epic back to back chokes, 4 years of a playoff drought, constant turnover in roster, age issues on the roster, talent drought in alot of positions, questionable offense, coaching turnover can be so confident and optimistic, how is that even possible.

Yes I see a receipe for success somewhere in there.

But come on bro they have "such talent" in the trenches that they dont need any other of those other so called "skill" position players....ie. QB, WR, TE, etc. etc.

Yeah we sure will miss those guys. Osgood might be the biggest loss of all the players we wont have next year as opposed to the 3 you listed.

Your team is going to miss LT & JWall! While they both are not at thier prime any more, they are both still effective.
More importantly thier veteran presence will be sorely missed. I you don't know what I mean by that, you will soon.

QFT and the truth is Dobbins is a beast of a ST player. Not as good as Osgood at making great downs and catching players. Osgood will be tough to replace.

The other 3 big ones we lost will be easy to replace on the field from their impact in 09. Even Brandon who didn't play as much in 09 due to Wilson.

Veteran Presence doesn't win you games.

We went 13-3 with no Jamal and in LT's worst year. Anything we get to replace them will be an upgrade over their production or contributions in a 13-3 year.

Well, other then Moreno, no one played that much as a rookie. Speaking of it, English really lit it up his rookie year. How good would Oher be right now instead of English. We all know rookies peak after there rookie season, cant get any better at all.

The SB Bears were offensive juggernaughts bristling with skill players.
                          Ditto for TB.
The mighty Ravens offensive skill players carried them to a SB win.

Here's a painful tip for you, via our past.
John our super skilled QB lost his first three SB's.
                          Why?

We lost the war in the treches in all three!
The two SB's we won, one was a tie in the trenches(GB), and the other had us dominate (ATL)

So go ahead and discount the guys in the trenches.

LOL....your not really gonna compare your Defense (if you can call it that) to that of the 85' bears or the 00' Ravens are you????

If last call hasent been called in Denver already can someone please call this guy a cab???

Nope. Not comparing us to them. (Although that is our future direction I think)

Instead, I liken your team more akin to my Broncos that lost 3 sbs!

Your going to lose the war in the trenches. The question is, is Rivers big enough to will the Bolts to the SB in the first place like John did?

Get used to your low rushing totals. A drafted RB is not going to move you a lot up the positions. (Now if you draft some studs on Oline, I'll change my tune.)

Very few teams have won a SB with a strong passing game but little else.
