    I counted 304 wins....

    8x32=256

You've estimated about 50 wins too many. It's pretty clear in that there are 9 ten win teams in the AFC alone.

That's what's so difficult about predictions, it always seems like teams are on the rise... but in the end, there are only so many games to be won and there are going to be teams that disappoint, period. That's why we don't get much love, sure... we have potential, but from the outside looking in, if there are only going to be X number of good enough for the playoffs (and you listed a whopping 8 other ten win teams), it makes sense that they wouldn't choose us (based on recent years, ect). Heck, with all that competition, that's why I don't exactly have a lot of confidence picking us.

Sometimes it comes down to not how good you are and how much you can get better, but realizing other teams are doing the same

The problem is that I added them up before when I first did them, and I came up with 233, so I needed 23 more... apparently the calculator was off or something, because I know I didn't go 32 (it came out 288 this time) over trying to correct my mistake.

So, let me get this straight.

The current Browns team is as bad as the 99' team?

Last year yo0 all said the Browns would win 1 or 2 games (which is extremely unrealistic) and now you say the Browns will only win 3 or 4 games?

Using your reasoning, why don't you have every team in the NFL other than the Broncos win only 3 games?!
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

Based on what exactly? Are you unhappy with the Broncos record in that scenario?

                          Bitter, bitter.

Like I said before, it's about all of the other teams. Nearly everybody tries to improve their rosters, but there are only so many wins to go around... and past performance is and indicator (if not one of the best in sports) of future performance. It[s why people put the Patriots and Colts up there every year. It's why the NFC East always gets the benefit of the doubt.

It's why I had you guys making the playoffs after the ten win season. But truth is, aside from that anomaly, you guys never do well... and to me there's not much difference between this year and last. In fact, you lost talent, but 'gained players for your system without the character flaws', like us actually. If that's any indication, you'll win about as many games as you did the year before. I mean, we did. More logic to keep you in that range.

Sorry there buddy, I understand your frustration, but you don't seem to at least understand why people can (logically) put you in that win range. I suggest accepting people have right and reason to say that, and just be satisfied knowing it's not necessarily what's actually going to happen.

                              Some expanded explanation:

NFL: I feel good about the teams making the playoffs, with the exception of the last-one-outs (Houston Texans and Chicago Bears) and perhaps the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons. The strongest division (based on wins) is the AFC South, which could open a playoff spot up for the Dolphins and the weakest division is the NFC West.

AFC: With what I feel is a bolstered running game with who I think will be a beast in Ryan Matthews, and another down year in our division, the Chargers finally tear it up in the regular season while the Raiders show improvement by having a capable player at quarterback. The Raven's off-season moves gets them a division title, as with the Jets, although their division keeps them from doing well enough for a bye. It comes down to the Jets, Colts or Chargers. Picked the Chargers.

NFC: Meanwhile in the NFC, the East sees a dip, allowing the Cowboys to claim another title and the Redskins to sneak into the playoffs. The Vikings place emphasis on the post-season instead The 49ers much improved offensive line will give them a strong enough offense to win the west, while the Cards falter without Warner. Comes down to the Saints, Vikings Cowboys, maybe the Packers. Picked the Vikings, but could feel better about it.
