Apparently, Bronco fans (and their Mods) don't want to deal with reality.

The Denver Broncos are not as good as they were in 2008. In fact, they aren't as good as they were last year. Josh McDaniels has traded away their two best players and destroyed a Top 10 offense.

For all of you Kool-Aid drinking Donkey fans.....quote me on this one.....Josh McDaniels will be on the hot seat by the Bye Week. Denver will be 1-7 at that point....maybe...3-5. Cutting ties with this tool that is in over his head will "begin" to take motion. I'm not saying that Joshy will be fired before the season ends, but not be surprised by the reaction from the Denver fans and media.

Chargerland treats Broncos fans the same way.

In our defense (I don't know who noticed you, nor should you say much more in the thread.), not all fans of other teams are as able to have open and smack free discussion. It's hard as a moderator to remember who is and isn't capable. Not all the mods keep too close an eye on this part of the forum either.

Productive discussion by other teams' fans is always welcome... here or elsewhere in the forum.

Why would any fan want to even think about how bad things could go? In all honesty I can't blame anyone, now's the time for optimism, hopefulness and excitement. The reality sinks in fast enough if it doesn't go well :-) As a fan for 41 years I've experienced it more often than I want to think about, LOL!

Anybody's season COULD end up bad. But yours unfortunately has never ended with a ring. But if you want to know what a superbowl trophy looks like just come to Denver.

In all fairness SD does have to rings. An AFL Championship and an AFC Championship.

Well...it wasn't you. You've always been very fair.

It was a worthwhile thread about OUR division.....that should have at least been moved to the Smack Section (although it would have been a better exchange of ideas in the GD section).

Oh well.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

It isn't like we've been told we have Cancer and we're denying the severity, it's football. And we haven't even played the first preseason game yet. Why do so many Charger fans want all us Bronco fans to give up on our team already? So many of you guys are telling a bunch of fans, who for the most part have never seen the Broncos finish worse than 6-10, that we will go 3-13. Then you wonder why we refuse to believe that. Sorry, I'll believe it when I see it.

Trust me, I have no illusions about my team. I don't have a strong feeling that we'll finish any better than 9-7 especially with the injuries, but I bet Cardinal fans didn't think theirteam would go to the SB a couple years ago. This is the NFL and every team has a shot.

I do think you were unjustly flamed in that thread though BH. But, unfortunately people see your name and your Avy and they get defensive. I'm not condoning it, but it was inevitable. Sorry.

What she said! I would rather talk about what could go right this season for my team at this point. I do remember your old line under your Avi, pour your misery down if you like; but for right now as the commercial Sunday night kept saying,"We are all un-defeated"

Seems like every year, the so-called "experts" think the Chargers are playoff bound....and ex-Donkey Mark Schlereth thinks their "window is closing".

Plenty of "What If's" as we approach the season....seems many here want to be the most accurate in their predictions so they may later return to chest-pound themselves ... that's cool if it's your thing...seems silly to try predicting when we all know how fast things can change in the NFL...

It's August. Speculate all you want, but thats all it is until we see them play
