Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

All smack aside Jags and Broncos might be the 2 most boring teams in the NFL.
Don't Jags kinda own Den and doesn't Den struggle on season openers when they are road games?
Woah woah woah Chargers fans. Wait your turn, You'll get yours the very next week. As you all and probably Merriman still remembers, There's ALWAYS enough MJD to go around.
As for the Broncos fans, I'm not sure why you're all posting wrong predictions, but you've got a little over a week to fix them. The football gods believe you're all delusional with these... predictions.

The first part of your post made me
The second part made me also but in a much different way.

LOL. Ya who could ever forget Merriman getting absolutely lit up by MJD. Priceless stuff there.
MJD will probably light our **** up for 125 and 2 TD's, but if we can make them one dimensional and stop Garrard on 3rd down, and get a turnover or 2, I think we win. Because I think Orton will be able to move the ball pretty well, and our running game will be night & day from what it looked like in preseason. Knowshon might not break his first 100 yard game but I think between him and Bucky our running game will be sufficient for week 1. Our defense will look a lot better with Champ, Dawkins and DJ back.
Isn't real smack, with a team other than the Chargers, about a REAL game about to happen soooooo much better that the mindless off season garbage we have been throwing around?
So nice.
I mean, its still the Jags. An improved team but still more Virgil than Ted DiBiase, but they're almost good enough for us to hate for no reason now.
Two of the most exciting teams in football to me meet again for the what... 3rd time in 4 years?
Not much for smack talk this time. I ran out of that the last two times we played. I will however leave out a plate of crow and hope I'm not forced to eat it.
21-17 in favor of the home team, is my predictions.
Broncos fans, Post your painfully wrong predictions here, and on the 12th, I will bump this thread, and tell you how wrong you are.
Jaguires: 7,899
Donkeys: 10 fourth quarter points with 5 minutes left in the game.
15 time AFC West Champions:
1960, 1961, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1992, 1994, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and all but assured of our 16th in 2010 and 17th in 2011.
The AFC West belongs to the Bolts & Rivers until further notice.
Through 62 career starts, Rivers' 93.5 passer rating, 2.2-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio, and 44-18 win-loss record are better than the 62-start marks of Manning, Brett Favre and Joe Montana. :salute!:
