Your expectations are higher than many here as well, and the Chiefs are not as good as the Jaguars, so that matters too.
But you're right. I'm sure all Hell is breaking loose on your boards right now. It's unfortunate, and I wish you guys the best.
The season's not over. It's one game.

Yeah unfortunately you guys are fairweather fans over their but its just the atmosphere in denver we are raised to be true blooded fans. It could be worse you could be a hard core fanbase like Philly who tends to always hate the stars no matter who they are.
Still I think if SD had a better history and not just recent history the fans would be a more reliable. Granted KC is still strong and so is Minnesotta but they are also in an area where they are just more hardcore about football. Still I think SD is going to do well enough this year that the fans will come back eventually. (LOL you get Jackson back in 6 unless you trade him)Last edited by Joshecalpoly; 09-16-2010, 02:26 PM.

Granted being a team out of the playoffs you expose your fairweather fans more and more and the Broncos fan base hasnt remained completely strong but its still one of the top in the league. If the roles were reversed I am not sure SD could say the same thing. I dont want to see the team move to LA because that would be a kick in gut to the real fans and its never right when that happens. So I cant say I will be routing for SD but I do hope the fans wake up a little more despite economic means or perhaps management will start dropping prices.

If they can't fill the stadium they currently have, they can't make the money to build a new one. Blackouts start happening every week. Then the team moves.
The End.

the chargers have a small fanbase to begin with then when you consider where they play and the crap stadium they play in, it explains a lot.
that said, it is kind of pathetic and i have said that here before. then again, i don't live in SD anymore and don't get a lot of chances to visit and go to games (every couple years or so) so who am i to judge?
you can pretty much look at every team that plays on the coast in warm weather climates and see they have similar problems, especially in southern California.
the chargers are the only team left in socal, even in the #2 market in America (L.A) NFL teams could not survive.
if the chargers can win a championship and build a stadium i think they will do a lot better but this not selling out thing is nothing new.
