And the Bears got Knox from that draft who played in last years probowl.

He'll have a terrible game against Dallas, that Front 7 against the Bears OL is going to be hilarious to watch..
Lol have some crow. 136 passer rating and he torched that d for 3 tds no ints and 277 yds.
What now? Back to the pro bowl for the young franchise qb.
sigpic The most explosive QB-WR tandem in the past decade. Off with their heads! And while you're at it, fire Nolan! He only led 6 of 12 defenses to top 10 in points scored against.

Apparently, the OP isn't smart enough to realize this is what Jay Cutrler is.

He has done this throughout his career...he will play great and show you everything you want to see in a game like the Dallas game (or with the Broncos in 2008 against San Diego), the problem is CONSISTENCY, of which Jay Cutler has none.

He will probably turn around and throw four picks Monday night in an embarassing loss.

That's what you get with Jay Cutler, and you are kidding yourself if you believe the light has suddenly gone on for Jay Cutler.

Or Cutler actually has grown as a QB under Martz who turned a bagboy into a HOF quarterback.

cutler started out on fire every year he played for the broncos. I remember his last year where we were putting up like 40 points a game the first 3 weeks then struggled to score 20 points the rest of the year.

Oh and every year we also thought "cutler has finally matured, now hes an elite qb".

Actually, the only year he got off to a quick start in Denver was 08. Not to mention what he is being asked to do in 2010 with Martz is different than anything he has ever had to do in his career. Martz stripped him down and remade him. changed his mechanics, the way he stands under center, the way he drops back, etc. He is being asked to throw to spots in anticipation. In Denver, the offense was being built for his talents as opposed to him controlling the system (at least it seemed that way). He had it easy in 08 with that O line and the weapons in a way. He is doing it with a completely different coach, completely different system, completely different Oline, and completely different supporting cast. There is nothing similar about either situation besides that he is off to a "fast start." He actually looks far more mature out there than any other point in his career. Anyone actually watching can identify that.

+1 to that. Could not have said it any better.

See that's what Cutler does. He gives you a little morsel of goodness...

And then he keels over, his face all purple and white with that same blankly stupid countenance, because of the sugar content of the food he was feeding you and apparently gorging on himself.

I've seen this episode too many times before, Bears fans...

Y'all are setting yourselves up for massive disappointment and abnormal blood glucose levels...
