Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno suffered an injury during Friday's practice and has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, according to The Denver Post.



The Post did not clarify the specifics of the injury, and the team has made no official announcement.

Moreno, in his second season, led the Broncos in rushing in 2009 with 947 yards and nine touchdowns.

Broncos coach Josh McDaniels told reporters that the team would feature a combination of backs -- Laurence Maroney, Correll Buckhalter and Andre Brown -- to account for Moreno's absence.

The Broncos obtained Maroney from the New England Patriots on Sept. 14, adding another nicked-up player to a rushing attack burdened by injuries.

At least Mathews will get a 100 yard game count on it. Moreno is already on his way to BUST status. LMAO!
