Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Tebow won't be a bigger bust in the NFL than Ryan "don't talk to me!!!" Leaf. Kind of ironic that he injured his wrist while throwing an interception. So Charger fans how does it feel to have the biggest bust in the NFL? Or was that Jamarcuss-I-sack-myself-Russel?
Either way Tebow will be better than your hyped up first rounders. Kind of comes down to something known as "work ethic." :thumb:
actually
tebow could be one of the biggest QB busts ever, even more so than leaf
if he never starts a game as a qb
he was drafted as a qb, if he never starts a game as a qb, that would mean he's a bigger bust (at that position) than leaf
as leaf at least began qb life in the nfl at 2 wins, 0 losses

I think what defines someone as a bust is a blockbuster contract, and huge expectations, just to fall flat (See Jamarcus Russel and Ryan Leaf). As far as I can tell, very few think Tebow can make it as a pro-QB and his contract is very modest. If he fails, He'll be proving a lot of people right, not the other way around. The expectations are nowhere near where they were for Leaf and Russel.
And you heard it hear first:
Tebow will split dows with Orton in the first quarter with a heavy dose of "Wild Horses"
If it works, we'll use it the whole game, if it doesn't, Orton is going to get creamed. Colts are ruthless pass rushers and they hardly play the run at all. Given the fact Moreno will be out and our run game hasn't been doing so hot, I see McD trying something different to try and keep the rock moving. If we have to rely on Orton passing the ball this whole game, I think we're gunna see an injury to our QB against this team.
And unless Orton gets hurt, does Tebow even have a chance of beating him out? I can't even see him doing it in 5 years.
Well to be completely fair, Orton has been in the NFL, and Tebow is a rookie. It is Orton's second year in the system, and it looks like he knows it.
Tebow not only is a rookie he has to learn the system while at the same time learning how to improve his motions, reads, and reading pro-defenses.
His work ethic will help him, but apart from what I said, it is pure speculation. Orton is serious business, so......I'm not sure what will happen to Tebow. Orton is keeping ahead.
Your "5" years aren't that far off really, it could happen, but he would have been traded probably by then. It wouldn't make sense to trade Tebow, but strange things happen.

i really don't think tebow can last in the nfl getting hit (tackled) regularly

There isn't anything in Tebow's game that make me think he even has a shot other than his size, and its not Orton's is a handicap either.
