anyway point is, we lost at seattle, you lost at jax, and jax just today proved they suck at home as well as the road

it's a fact, it just got proved

if sf had lambasted seattle in seattle, i'd be wrong, but here i am, the correct one, with the winning argument lol

    simple as that, really

anyway, i called the afc west like none of you did, this week, so yes i am better than you

and i had rivers and orton on my FF team, so kick ass!

at least we both know sd starts slow and takes the west

So SD can't win in away games? Good luck in the playoffs!

Talking smack when you're winning isn't talking smack. It's called gloating. If you're die hard, you can find something good about your team and talk about it no matter what your record is.

Look at some of the Charger fans in here. Slow starts every year and choke jobs in the playoffs each year, yet they don't go away after embarrassing losses like the ones against the lowly Seahawks or some team that barely backed into the playoffs. I respect these guys for that.

If we were playing the chefs this week or next, I could totally understand showing up, but when the game is weeks away there's only one reason to come here now: They finally dusted off the red jersey hanging in the back of the closet.

My point was, and still is, don't show up here twice in 3 years, act like you've been here all along, denigrate others who really have been here and not expect to get called on it.
Reminds me when the Broncos were 6-0 last year and headed into their bye week. This place suddenly bloated with gloating Bronco fans who showed their faces only because the Broncos had a 3.5 game division lead and were undefeated. You couldn't walk around this place without stepping or bumping into a fair weather smack talker. They all then started scattering like Broncoroaches once the team collapsed the rest of the way with only 2 more wins out of 10 tries. Only the regulars stuck around.

Since the Broncos are 1-2 a lot of those fair weather Broncoroach fan are in hiding. Some have lurked out to gloat over the fact that the Chargers are also 1-2 and lost to the Hankerchiefs and Fleacracks

I love fans from other teams showing up. We're one of the few message boards that actually welcome other teams fans. It's what makes a smack section.

Sure, come around during game week and toss a little smack around.

But don't come around here only when your team is winning and pretend you've been here the whole time, then rip on others who do happen to come here often.

Give him a break? Give me a break.

No, post count has no bearing on you being a fair weather fan.

The fact that you just happened to show up for the second time in 3 years and it just HAPPENS to coincide with a 3-0 start for the chefs pretty much labels you as a fair weather/band-wagon fan.

Gridiron is a chefs fan and is here year round, no matter how his team perform.

You can use whatever excuse you'd like, but the fact is you got caught and were called on it. Facts are facts and your posting history doesn't lie. It's available for everyone to see.

And it has nothing to do with your post count. It has everything to do with your timing.

No need to defend yourself. I would also say that post counts also hold no relevance over whether someone is a fair weather fan or not. Just because I have not posted as often as other chief fans, does not make me a fair weather fan. Perhaps I dont have the sort of time others do? Perhaps I rarely post on internet forums in general?

Excluding the last 2 weeks, you've posted exactly 5 times in just under 3 years.

Not exactly what I would call "being around."

Nice try on the busy life thing. I have two jobs and small children, yet somehow manage to post on a consistent basis. :thumb:

Just had to comment since I expect more of you chefs band-wagonners as our division games get closer.

No, but it was an effin hilarious come back!

Its not about how often you post its about not being around until your winning thats makes you fairweather. Thats the definition of fairweather fan. someone who only roots for/talks smack when they are winning. Heres your sign...
