Merriman was put on IR today and must be released when he is healthy. Anyone who follows the Chargers saw this coming. We didn't know when it wouldn't happen, but obviously AJ wasn't going to resign him.

It will interesting to see where he lands. It will also be interesting to see what kind of payday he gets. No doubt someone will overpay him.

I think I read somewhere he will be released within 6 weeks. Assuming AJ Smith acts like the ass he is and waits the full 6 weeks to release him. Lets look ahead to the schedule. Whats in 6 weeks?

Wow. He had 39.5 sacks his first three steroids, but only 4 sacks his last three seasons. I didn't know the dropoff was that far. Bet he goes to Dallas.
