    Not true.

If the Chargers score from the Seattle 6, with four downs to convert mind you, the game goes into overtime and PERHAPS the Bolts win.

If the Chargers score from the Seattle 15 in the closing seconds, with four downs to convert mind you, the game goes into overtime and PERHAPS the Bolts win.

If McMichael or whatever the rookie's name is, decides to pick up the ball and not marvel at the Oakland grass, the Chargers have a chance to score, convert two, send it into overtime and maybe win the game. Heck if Buster Douglas could catch, yada yada yarp yarp.

This whole woulda coulda been 5-0 stuff is said by all teams throught the league, that their record COULD'VE been altered had, gosh darnit, the whole team played better. The hell?

This is not a game of asterisks. You're 2-3. Dolts special teams set the tone. Failure defined it.

and IF we had an Oline that could run block we would be too.

Every team in the nfl can play the IF game but reality is reality.

...and D's ability to stop long, sustained, scoring drives in the closing minutes of the game and the O's ability to protect both the QB and the ball with the game on the line....otherwise, like you have been saying all along, the Chargers would be sitting here 5-0 right now.

    Ok, that's better.

Unless we've entered bizzaro world, that would be really, really bad for the Broncos.

No, just questioning the validity of the source. The source may be absolutely legit and it may not be but, unless we hear that the source's last name is Smith or Spanos, I'll remain skeptical.

True and even if it is the best thing for him to do this he can still be a thorn in SD's side. He should play tough because it is a contract year, and its not like SD is going to put him on IR and allow him to walk without getting anything.

AJ Smith didn't get the 2nd and 5th round picks for him that he wanted. But, he will probably get a 3rd rounder compensitory pick.

While I'm sure VJ can't stand AJ, he likes his team and his coaches and will interesting to see if/how the Chargers use him. AJ won't release him and he's not eligible for the practice squad. So, I am guessing he will be playing.

Looks like Champ and crew will get another two shots at covering him again this year after all.

Right....you're acting like he made things up in favor for the Chargers. He probably knew a few people in NFL. I tend to give him more creditbility just like Jerry McDonald because they are beat writers whose cover their team. Just my opion though

Your statement above is more in line for us as fans. If I make the statement like this, you're absolutely 100% correct for doubting my source.

if you ask me, i think its our QB that makes them look good, as well as the guy calling the plays.just like all the other elite QB's in the league, you can pretty much plug in any decent receiver and that QB makes them look better than what they are.
I gave Norv a lot of credits for making Rivers what he is today.

Just like what Denver did to Kyle Orton, if he keeps it up, he is going to get a lot of attentions and may be a huge contract. When Kyle was here last year, everyone was saying Kyle can't throw more than 10 yards and blah blah blah..turn out he is also pretty good.

Well, remember the Sept. 4 deadline for Jackson to reach a contract agreement with another team and have a trade consummated so he could serve his DUI suspension and Roster Exempt time concurrently? That was the first time Jackson’s agents said the Chargers stymied a trade.

Turns out, the chance the Chargers had to make a deal was actually no chance at all.

A source said Thursday that the Chargers did not even get the call from the Minnesota Vikings informing them the Vikings had reached a deal with Jackson until 3:01 p.m. PT. A deadline for a deal to be done required Jackson’s signed tender and a trade agreement to be received by the league by 3 p.m.

Whether the Chargers and Vikings could have worked something out that day is not known – though perhaps the Vikings would have been willing to offer slightly more than they were 2½ weeks later if they could have had Jackson for an extra game.

Dude got some bad advice from someone.
I honestly don't understand how players think that they can demand to enter into new contracts when their current ones aren't even up yet. Then again, without knowing what the next agreement between the NFL and the players will look like....
