Things to fill your time on Sundays, now that the season is over

Of course the Chiefs have benefited from an easy schedule. But that still doesnt change the fact that theyre now 5-2. You play the games your scheduled to play!

As for our weak schedule, need I remind those skeptics how easily would could be 7-0, or 6-1 right now? Even in our losses we looked great. We lead the texans game the entire game until the last 28 seconds...and the reffs had to help the texans by a HUGE PI call that shouldnt have been called.

We went toe to toe with Indy AT Indianapolis! Manning had his worst game in two years against our D...and If D Bowe brings in that TD pass that 99% of WR's in this league make, the chiefs would have won that game.

Now Im not trying to polish a turd here, but the Chiefs are playing some damn good ball. I dont think the chiefs are a "great" team. However, in another year or two, I see this team competing year in year out. I think right now, we are a good up and coming team.

Cant say I was particularly happy with the overall performance. However, there were several promising indicators from todays game. The defense did something the Baltimore and patriot defenses couldn't do, hold an upstart offense to 10 points.

Offensively, the chiefs had 274 total rushing yards. 414 total yards...etc, the score didnt tell the hole story. The chiefs made that game closer than it should have been/was. In the end, they won it. And that is all that matters.

And multiply THAT by a 1000 and then you'll begin to feel our pain. But it appears the Silver and Black are back. 1000 yards of offense the last two weeks, 82 points and 14 sackes (not sure of exact# but 7 today).

This game next weekend is pretty big for both of our teams. I'd wish you good luck but I'd be lying.

Having been a fan for all my life, I've been through "suckage" too and while it ain't never fun to watch or go through, I'll always proudly represent my Broncos.. don't expect that to ever change, fairweather. :thumb:
