Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I told myself I wouldn't do this, but it's not like it's going to matter if I'm wrong this year...
~Denver:
Team rebounds after last week and wins. Not gunna put a score on it, but I know that the players (despite any feelings good or bad towards McDaniels) are going to want to redeem themselves as men and professionals and are going to come out pissed off and ready to whoop some ass...
At least that's what I'm hoping for
~Seattle:
Raiders have big heads after last week, have a hard time winning two games in a row, and the seachickens are playing good ball. It wont be any kind of a blow out, but don't expect a 10th of the results of last week in this weeks game.
~Bills:
OK, if I haven't lost you yet, I probably did on this one. I just think that the Ravens are like KC only better, and the Bills had a very close game with them last week. The Bills also played fairly convincing games against New England and Miami and are desperate for a win. I really could see KC dropping this game. Again, it might be wishful thinking but this is my gut feeling. I just see trap game written all over this one.
~Titans:
Titans capitalize off of mistakes, Chargers make lots of them, Chargers lose the game. Also, if the Chargers weren't dealing with so many injuries on offense, and they were playing someone like San Fran, then I would have to side with the Chargers in this game, but since that is nowhere near the case, Chargers are going to have a hard time making a go of it. Rivers will be missing Floyd, Gates (will most likely be less than 100 percent and double teamed most of the game), Craig Davis (banged up and questionable), nanee (listed as doubtfull), Matthews is hobbled and the backup kicker is listed as questionable with a left ankle injury and kaeding is still out. Yeah, it's gunna take a meltdown by the Titans for the Chargers to come out on top despite all that.
I know it doesn't seem like it but I'm really not trying to be a homer here, it's just my opinion of how the games are going to play out
really? you think the titans are that much better that its going to take a meltdown for the chargers to win?
hell, the chargers had those injuries and made a lot of mistakes last week against an even better team and they were still in the position to win the game.
mistakes or not, if the titans win the game they will need to play well against the chargers. if they melt down it could turn out to be a blowout loss for them actually.
and yes it does seem like you are being a little bit of a homer with this post, but that's okay.
Week 8 already? Wow! Mid-term report cards are due after this weekend's games.....and it ain't gonna be pretty if a couple of teams don't win.
It's been so long since anyone has called every game right......I think I forgot how to give out CPs. But, if one of you clowns can pull it off this week, I read the owner's manual and figure it out.
Happy Halloween
Denver 9 San Fran 17
I'd be curious to hear from some of the fans on this board that live across the Pond. What is the UK's take on this game? Two teams with a combined record of 3-11...brutal. Bet the NFL is kicking itself right about now.
Anyway, I think the Broncos are done. Josh tried to pin last year's collapase on Mike Nolan....but, last week the truth came out - McD has done a horrible job building depth into this team (especially on defense). Also, I like Kyle Orton, but he is medicore at best...and this team needs more than that - both athletically and from a leadership standpoint. IMO, the Broncos have packed it in and no longer believe in the boy-hoodie.
The Tebow Watch is back in full swing. In fact, thoughts of McD playing him if the game gets out of control might be the only thing that saves the ratings of this potential international disaster.
Buffalo 13 Kansas City 27
When was the last time the Chiefs were favored by 7 1/2 points? I'm still not a believer (we'll see how they play at the end of the season), but the Bills aren't going to be the ones to knock them down a notch.
Oakland 20 Seattle 23
Sorry Raider fans, but you don't get to play Denver every week.
Tennessee 17 San Diego 20
How in the world is a 2-5 team favored by 3 1/2 points to a 5-2 team? I don't care if it is a home game for the Chargers or not. That just seems stupid.
I guess Vegas is saying that this is the week that Norvy and crew start their 9 game winning streak. Either that or the Bolts are still one of the most over-rated teams and people keep dropping money on them.
This week, replacement kicker dude splits the uprights instead of hitting them to win the game.
I think these are pretty close, although I will say
San Fran 16
Denver 13...and what the hell, make it an OT loss.
Rofl that's exactly why I've abandoned the voting for this season. This division is crap, it's just a lucky dice roll week in and week out.
besides the chiefs, they have been consistent and good for the most part. even though they didn't look like world beaters today, they still got the win.
