Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Because losing to a divisional opponent like the raiders isn't as bad as losing to the 49ers... i was ok with the L against the raiders, but an L against the 49ers is unacceptable.
get it?
raiders are okay and the 49ers suck
i think its worse to lose to any divisional opponent, especially if it was your biggest rival. not to mention the way you got embarrassed by them.....
Eh.. just got home from London so this is pretty much my first post after the game but here's a random thought..
You know your team sucks when you've got bolts talking football with raider and chief fans on a Broncos board. It's like the lottery... it just does not happen.
This is beyond embarrassing..
Screw this tho... we got a bye and will be coming back in full force and retake OUR division.. not giving up on this season until we're mathmatically eliminated, period.

that is just me though.
lol hypocrite when you lost to the Raiders a loss was a loss now it's worse? You are always crying hypocrite or double standard or my fav homer. Practice what you preach you homerisitc, double standard having hypocrite. I think losing to the Raiders is worse on many levels conference loss, divisonal loss but most of all a loss to a hated rival.
yeah know you will try to back out of it but the truth is only black and white.

if you actually follow the thread, this started with me asking another broncos fan why he was 5 times more pissed off after this loss than the raiders loss.
it is not anywhere near the same thing and you are taking me out of context.
i was comparing them in terms of personal preference (which team would make you the most mad if you lose to them, basically) not judging how bad a loss was because of who you lost to, by how many points, or tiebreakers.
yes a loss is a loss, losing to a good team doesn't make that loss any better than another loss.
how can you not see the difference there?
i personally would rather my team lose to any other team than a rival, if i was a broncos fan i would much rather lose to any other team than lose to my biggest rival at home where they broke a team record in points scored lol

does it get any worse than that? seriously.
I thought you were a real Chargers fan? Guess I was wrong because a real Chargers fan knows the answer to that is "yes it does get worse than that".losing the superbowl sucks worse than anything especially a blow out superbowl.Losing the the Raiders at home in that fashion is a close second.

If I come across as a complete asshat, and a complete unadulterated homer from here on out (if you didn't already think that) I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to help it and I don't care anymore. This loss actually pissed me off MORE than the Raiders loss. The only thing we can hang our hat on now is we come out of the bye week and have the most incredible comeback season of all time.
8-0 to finish the season and SD KC and JOKELAND can pucker up and kiss our division winning crevices!!!!
Whiskey...
you ma only fren
I'm gonna toss some reverse smack out there and predict that we don't even win another game this season because we suck so bad....

It's not who we lost to that pissed me off more. It was the fact that this was a chance, an opportunity, to bounce back and make a statement that said, "we aren't the broncos team you saw last week getting obliterated." My opinion that this team has a lack of heart, talent, motivation, and desire to win, was exacerbated by the fact that we didn't come out and look mad and determined to prove that we can bounce back from one of the lowest points for us in the last decade. There is no team identity and it just seems like were out there going through the motions. Also add to that fact, that it seems like every time we had a glimmer of hope, it was taken away by some jackass committing a stupid penalty (flagrant block to the back that negated a 70 yard return in the final 2 minutes to try to tie the game), or failing in basic football fundamentals (shanking a PAT) just to name a couple instances.
This game proved that last weeks performance was NOT a fluke and that now we're going to go into the bye week with this season officially in disaster mode.
That's why it pissed me off. Not because I think the Raiders are better than the 9ers so it's not as bad etc. etc., but because it's like it officially and figuratively made us one of the worst garbage teams in the NFL.
I hope that made sense. It's hard to maintain a linear thought process in a post that takes you an hour and a half to make because youre whiskey drunk.
