Of course you want KC to make it. Why would any Denver fan in their right mind want the Chargers to make it? That was my point. Don't be so ignorant and blind.

I want Den to make it, but will it really matter who makes it. Whoever does will probably be one and done in the playoffs.

If KC makes it, good for them, they have been a very, very consistent team this year.

What makes you think that if the Chargers make it to the playoffs we'll suddenly be 1-and-done?

History I suppose. It has a way of repeating itself.

Norv Turner and Rivers have been to the playoffs together 3 times. Only last year has Norv's Chargers gone one-and-done thanks to our place kicker missing three FG's. The prior 2 years Norv is 3-2 with an AFCCG appearance his first season as a Bolts HC. You call the Chargers under Norv a 1-and-done trend?

                      Well, fine.

Let's say SD wins the division, and wins in the 1st round.

Do you really think SD will beat Pitt, NE, Balt, Indy, or the Jets in the 2nd round on the road.

All I keep seeing in my head is 4th quarter, 2:22 left to play, down by three, 41 yard attempt is wide right, game over.

Keep in mind that, if they do win the division, they'll likely play Pit, NE or Bal on the road for round 1.

keep in mind that logic goes for whatever team wins the division. personally i couldn't care less about what team we may face if we win the division, that will be a good problem to have.

either way i don't see the chargers making it far with the special teams and fumbling problem they have.

you cant make mistakes like that in the playoffs and expect to get very far.

You know, you can never tell. While the Chargers have invented new and unique ways to lose, there will be solid players who can be counted on in a pinch: Rivers, Gates, Sproles and Tolbert. And, McNeill is having still in his preseason so to speak. Also, I can't see that what happened to Scifres will go unnoticed by AJ, I expect him to come down hard on Norv and Crosby -- you can bet that he's already working the Rolodex putting together a long list of potential ST coaches for the '11 season. Things will improve and soon.
