Yes, losing in the playoffs last year by 3 points is really getting our ass handed to us.

Your just damn lucky the Broncos haven't made another playoff appearance since 2005. Can you imagine having yet more embarassing 1-and-done playoffs losses added to your list this decade? Wow. Not being an ass, but I really wouldn't count Denver out just yet. As much as this pains me to say this, I still think that the Chargers are the team to beat in the AFC West.

I can see the Raiders, Chiefs and Broncos fighting for second place the rest of the season.

The broncos are 2-6 but the next few games will present them with opportunity to make up serious ground. Win versus Kc, then Sd and suddenly the division is wide open.

There is little for anyone to be confident about at this point of the season.

8 games down and 8 to go with plenty of possibilities.
