Comparing Rivers to Manning?

I'm not going to say who compared Rivers to Manning but didn't you dolt fans criticize Broncos fans for making out Cutler to be the next Elway and the greatest underrated player in the league? What about when Orton was 6-0 you probablly criticized us for comparing him to Tom Brady. Rivers wins a game for you and you compare him to Peyton Manning LOL. Oh irony of ironies.

Your hatred for Rivers is evident. Today was not just "any ol game". We weren't supposed to win this game with our reserves and backups, remember?
All week you donk fans flamed this team and said no way Rivers carries this team with with most of our starters out.
the fact is Rivers has won a lot of games for this team and here we are AGAIN this late in the season on a real nice winning streak against 2 pretty good teams.
Maybe you should open your eyes and admit the truth for a change. Rivers is right up there with Manning and honestly I don't think manning would have done what Rivers did today.

Not sure who your referring too but I wouldnt make that claim. But he isnt too far behind him and the fact that Rivers has finished top 3 in the league in Passer rating the last couple years (both years higher then Manning) shows he's a hell of alot closer then your 2 re-tread QB's you mentioned above.

Lets be honest here.

I hate rivers like any broncos fan should, i don't wanna get going on the loser so i'll leave it at that.

The fact is rivers is a stud. He got it done (4 tds-1int) with basicly back ups at WR. They moved the ball well and won a game they should not have (ruin my sports action ticket).

This being said rivers is NO WAY close to manning. The texans pass D sucks so bad so don't go crazy here on rivers. He mades some plays yeah but manning is in his own class so don't even try it.

Rivers imo is a top 5-6 Qb, ill give you that.

first of all, comparing rivers to peyton manning is 100x more relevant than comparing cutler to elway lol

rivers is arguably top 3 in the league and the last three years he has certainly put the numbers up to support that.

Anyway, Rivers got lucky imo because Schaub had that pass to Andre Johnson which was knocked loose and picked off. Kind of a freak accident played quite well. Almost like the Bengals game where Orton completed a pass to Stokely off a tipped ball.

Oh and fyi you guys barely came out on top. Rivers up there with Manning? Wow you dolt fans are delusional. Isn't Manning like a 4 time MVP SB winning champion? How many times has Phillis Rivers gone to the SB? Oh yah 0. They've gone to like (1)/2 AFC championship games? He doesn't even match or compare to Manning's greatness. I agree Cutler sucks and has a double chin. Next issue. I would argue top 5 but I could see top 3.

anyone notice how peyton manning is having similar issues with his receivers as the chargers are?no Dallas Clarke, Anthony Gonzalez, or Austin Collie (he still has reggie wayne at least) and he definitely struggled. lol

Lol for someone who claims to know a lot about smacking and Broncos fans where were you last season? :orton: was injured and was replaced by Chris Simms. He would have led us to the playoffs if he hadn't been recovering from an injury half of the year. Be real man! Um well you said both Manning and Rivers struggled this week with receivers gone, putting them on = footing with each other. Doltman-1 said that Rivers is like Manning :-) Not necessesarrily better but on = footing and that's hereasy.
