i agree with the bolded but not in tebow's case. what is the difference between the QB's you mentioned and tebow?

they were prototypical "NFL ready" college QB's and tebow was not, tebow is a developmental "hybrid" QB, he needs that time to develop.

also, rivers didn't have a choice, he didn't sit because he was not ready, he sat because he had drew brees in front of him ,making the probowl while he was untested.

i know they had faith and he would have been the starter because they had enough faith in him to let brees go.

I would play him with no problems.

He is a resilant guy. I HIGHLY doubt you will crush his resolve by playing him and he tanks. He is far too spiritual and such a positive guy, that I just simply cannot see him being down, let alone for long stretches.

Heck, even Champ Bailey wants to see him out there! That speaks volumes about what he is doing in practice...

I really do think that Tebow was picked by Bowlen and not Mcdamiels. And as such, was not allowed to play. In the coming weeks, we get a real look

And like I said, it's the only thing left to look forward to. Kind of sad. Even beating you guys (hah hah) would still feel empty.

eitherway i believe that skelton has a really good future as QB in the league. he was actually who i wanted the broncos to take in like the fourth round last year

In the last 5 games when he and his line have actually been healthy, 461 yards in 89 attempts which is 5.18 ypc with 3 TD's. I wouldnt say we completely went in the wrong direction.
