Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

i don't see why there's so much hate for tebow from any charger fans
it sounds like boltman is slamming him and his potential just because he's a bronco
i'm a charger fan and easily admit he could turn out great, you never know
dude's a winner
To quote DS:
It's because he's a Denver Bronco.
I kinda laughed when Boltheads said that Boltman-1 is Tellway. The only reasons that people hate Tebow is because: A.) He destroyed pretty much every fan's team in college. B.) He's a Denver Bronco. This is why Boltman-1 hates him in my opinion lol.

"Maybe if he had an iron suit or a magic hammer...."
I don't think anyone can hate Tebow. He's got talent and drive, that's all it takes. He's a rival.
Tebow hasn't done anything for anyone to hate him in the NFL so you are 100% accurate, he does not deserve nor has he earned hate by any NFL fan or team. Its really premature to say that Tebow is a talented NFL player right now when he hasn't done anything relevant since he's been a Bronco. He does have drive and desperately wants to succeed, we can hand him that. But its also true that this can be said of a lot of players who "wish" they could succeed in the NFL and have the drive and work ethic to do so but they NEVER amount to anything relevant because they just don't have the talent to succeed.
Tebow is a project and must prove that he is good enough to thrive in the NFL as a talented successful QB, which is what everyone is wondering and waiting to see what happens and if his run first, pass second instinct is going to help or hinder him, including the fact that he instinctively is a scrambler and not a pocket passer at all, and that he has a funny, goofy, awkward slow release and delivery. But, what we really need to see is if he can lead his receivers and not sit there and stare them down the field until they are open. This means changing plays on the fly based on defensive formations and coverage, standing in the pocket, checking down the field, right left, middle, fake pumps, them "bam", quick release.
I seriously don't think Tebow can or will ever fit this mold because this style does not fit the system he played in college. What he did in college won't help him in the NFL because No QB in the NFL today does what he did in college with those goofy fakes as if he's gonna run right out of the gate then he stops, drops back and then passes. You just don't do that in the NFL and expect players to bite and then find the time to get the ball to a receiver. The NFL is just to damn fast for that style.
Now, I could be wrong but I think my assessment is right on this one.

See my reply above. Nobody hates Tebow. I don't hate him at all. I have no reason to and hopefully never will.
I am slamming Denver fans for thinking its a lock that Tebow is their next John Elway and that he alone is the answer to the Broncos woes. I know a lot of fans are desperate for something, anything, positive to surface in Dove Valley so now they have all flocked to the feet of their supposed Messiah, Tim Tebow (who I think really is a false prophet).
Its funny how Denver fans are so easily lead astray worshiping and idolizing this draft choice and that draft choice, starting a "Tim Tebow" club, selling out so many Jerseys that his is the #1 selling Jersey in the entire NFL (even though he hasn't done anything at all relevant in the NFL). This is what is so funny to me that Denver fans are so predictable they are like a bunch of sheep being led to the slaughter and don't even know it. They sure like making lots of noise and racket over their team but nothing ever comes of it.
All I'm saying is Tim Tebow is a project just like Cutler was and its a crap shoot if the guy is going to succeed or not and meet the Denver Fans expectations and finally fill John Elways shoes. Yet Denver Fans feel its a lock he's going to succeed just because he put his mind to it, can give good lectures and speeches, and shows up to the practice field 2 hours before everyone else, and he's somehow got this special connection with heaven and God that he just simply cannot fail.

I dont think any denver fans have been saying he is a lock to be elway. I think denver fans want him to start so we can see what he is. I am always quick to say he will make rookie mistakes and is not going to jump in and just tear it up. He will have to grow. I think you are inventing your own idea of what fans think. there are probably a few gators fans on here who think so, but most denver fans just want to see what we have. I dont think that has anything to do with being delusional.
