Could we say that the Chargers are losers until you guys win the Big one?. Pathetic is your argument.

    Point taken? Good.
You donks said this same thing about Cutler, losing was NEVER his fault, he did nothing wrong EVER. I'm expecting the same mantra and position by most donk fans surrounding Tebow, well at least for a while until you realize he'll NEVER lead the broncos to a winning season or the playoffs as a starter in 16 games. I could be wrong but I'm not backing down until he proves me wrong. Tebow is an NFL loser until he proves otherwise.

Just as we all predicted. Slow as molasses in his release, horrible in the pocket, horrible out of the shot gun, horrible on 3rd down conversions.

OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH! Get the dude some bandaids for crying out loud!

Even if he doesn't last, he could still have a dynamic 6-7 year career. There are far worse fates...such as lasting 47 years and never bringing home a championship

Boltman, you are such a typical charger fan spewing your hatred for any team not named charger that your smack becomes not only unbelievable but laughable. As another poster mentioned and I tend to agree, you scour the web for anything negative you can find about the Broncos and post it as your own opinion. This just makes you a plagiarizing troll.

I currently have the unfortunate reality of having to live in San Diego and I know from firsthand experience what charger fans are like. The only time I went to Qualcomm and wore my jersey for a Bronco-charger game, I was nearly attacked by a teenage punk charger fan that followed me down the concourse, out of the stadium and into the parking lot after a game verbally abusing and approaching me in a threatening manner. And the chargers won that game! What other stadium in the NFL forces their fans to buy game tickets to 2 games just to see the raiders play because of stabbing fans in the stands? I remember several years back when the Chargers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars at Qualcomm Stadium; three Chargers fans beat a Jaguars fan unconscious in front of dozens of people. Classy.

And don’t even get me started on the laughable situation with the new stadium in San Diego. I first started hearing stories about a new stadium 10 years ago, way before Denver talked about a new stadium. During that time, Denver has built and played in their new stadium for nine years now and all San Diego can do is keep re-electing the same idiot city council members who continually vote against a new stadium. Guess that investment group in LA that is supposedly purchasing Alex Spanos’ percentage of ownership in the chargers must have you sweating their eventual move north to LA. You still gonna be a fan when you have to call them the LA chargers?! Talk about a dysfunctional organization...your team may be winning now but the future of the chargers looks bleak indeed.

On a final note, your comment “He's a funny looking akward QB…” I just have Ask REALLY? As far as funny looking goes…we've all seen many times that AWKWARD photo of phyllis that makes him look like a fool so be careful who you call 'funny looking'.

Calm down Juiceman, can't you see the deflection here? Boltman is scared to death of Tebow.

Why would the coaches turn him lose on the Chargers defense where he could get a concussion or a career ending injury?

no but he could definetly be trouble for the chargers and i wasnt saying the chargers need to be worried i am just waiting to se if we can knock the chargers out of the playoffs ( IF they dont do it on their own)

    Boltman riddle me this.

How is it that Tebow is going to have a short career?

Every QB has a Bullseye on thier chests. PR does whether you like it or not.

Every time a QB, goes back to pass, there is a good chance that they get blindsided by a 300+ pound defensive lineman.

So, personally, I prefer Tebow running and bracing for impact. You can have your QB that mostly stands there. Just don't cringe every time a huge man barrels down on PR from behind. (Because only running QB's have career ending injuries. )

Now that I look back on it, I am pretty sure I had some select expletives for my t.v. when it went down. However with all that being said, Tebow impressed me on many levels last week. He single handedly kept us in the game when our Defense, if you can even call it that, was giving away the game at every turn and our running game once again went into hibernation.

Tebow kept all of his teammates pumped up and energized to the effect that they were protecting him on the field like he was a family member. He continued to make plays and fought for every inch that the Raiders would give him. All of which was done on one week’s practice with the first team Offense.

Sure he made mistakes and will need to try avoiding contact better. Say what you want but he was polarizing to watch and I could not wait to see what he was going to do next on every snap. I for one cannot wait to see what he will mold into as an NFL QB. And yes, as far as I am concerned, he has shown that he has what it takes to be an NFL QB. He will only learn from every game he plays in and get better from this point on because it appears to me that that is how he plays the game.
You need to study the game book sir. If it wasn't for your defense the Broncos may have been shut out of the end zone the whole game. The Broncos defense handed the ball twice to Tebow DEEP in Raider territory and Tebow capitalized on that with a 40 yd TD run and a very lucky jump ball that should have been intercepted (and would have been 99.9% of the time) the way that play went down.

Further study of the game book reveals Tebow failed the rest of the way to move the chains on 3rd downs when he was called on. I said in my post above on 9 separate occasions. You are blaming your defense but come on, Tebow not once sustained a single long drive from the Broncos side of the field to give your defense a rest. You cannot blame the defense when they were out there constantly on account of Tebow NOT converting all those third downs when the ball was in his hands.

    Corrected (homer-free version):

Tebows unique traits (ability to run and pass) in college is what made him special. How many NFL QB's bring the run-pass game to the NFL and are successful at it? Not many, which makes it a unique project to see if his run-pass trait translates into the same success at the NFL level.

This is a much much better and more accurate take. What you are trying to do is feed some BS donkwash to this board that Tebow (as an NFL player) has essentially arrived by saying that after just 1 game suddenly:

    1) He's a special NFL QB
    2) Has has special NFL QB abilities
    3) He is a unique NFL QB because he runs and throws

No, he just had an OK game and got lucky on a jump ball that would have easily been, and should have been, intercepted by any other defender in this league. There is nothing mysterious about Tebow. He's a funny looking akward QB with a very slow release and horrible footwork who cannot drop back and fire the ball down the field without scrambling around first, or stay in the pocket and make deliveries. He succeeded on just a handful of plays and that's it. He got a lucky TD in the first half (pass) and he rushed for a 40 yard TD. Tebow's passer rating in the 1st half was 121.4. Not bad considering the spoiled field position afforded him starting on the Oakland 26 (from an interception) and the Oakland 32 (from a fumble). Please, take his ass in his own side and he's way below average. Not once did he drive the field from the Broncos side into the end zone.

Suddenly, he was horrible in the 2nd half and didn't do a damn thing truly meaningful but lead the Broncos to a couple 3 point FG's. The Raiders shut his ass down and his rating fell to a sub-par 77.6. He didn't do squat against the Raiders in the 2nd half. Take a look at the game book if you think I'm making this up. One thing to look at that is of interesting note is his 3rd down conversions when the ball was in his hands. Between Rushing, passing, and getting sacked the Broncos offense called his number and he utterly FAILED on 9 separate 3rd down occasions which 8 of the 9 All resulted in PUNTS except for 1 which was a FG. He was completely unreliable and could not drive the field at all for a TD (unless he started deep into the Raiders side). Just look at the Time of Possession, Broncos 26 minutes, Raiders 34 minutes. No wonder the Broncos defense could not stop they Raiders, they were gassed having to constantly run out on the field after TEBOW's constantly 3rd down failures after scoring those first 2 TD's.
Get back to reality donk fans, Tebow SUCKED DONK after those 2 TD's and you know it.

The way things have gone for Bronco QB's unless he turns out to be equal to that of Elway he won't amount to anything at all, nope, nada, zilch, zippo, nothing special...traded away for a REAL passing QB who is $$ on 3rd downs (which is where Elway made his money). Seriously, get your head out of the sand and wake up and stop trying to force Tebow into a role he'll never fit into in the NFL.
