    So...overall.....your team loses!
Move over Marino and make way for Phyllis Rivers!! Doesn't do any good to have the regular season wins, stats, etc. It all comes down to the ring!

Your trying to make lemon aid without sugar here juice twisting what I said. I did not say I wish injury on Tebow. Lets clarify what I said. I don't wish injury on any player, however, mark my words, if the Broncos coaching staff exposes him to the Chargers defense with a run first pass second scheme and he tries going head long without sliding against our defense he will get hurt. I don't wish to see any player hurt in the NFL but you have got to question why, if Tebow is truly the future of the Broncos, the coaching staff would want to risk it by giving him the green light to take off running like a running back full bore into the opposing teams defense and NOT instructing him to get his ass down and slide.

Look, its one thing for a QB to get sacked whether standing in the pocket or scrambling to get away but its another thing for a QB to run full bore with double the force of the hit from two opposing forces going in the exact opposite direction. Tebow already got injured. He was very lucky not to get injured against the Raiders.

Just as we all predicted. Slow as molasses in his release, horrible in the pocket, horrible out of the shot gun, horrible on 3rd down conversions.

OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH! Get the dude some bandaids for crying out loud!
          your smack is terrible...
          tim terrifc.....2 TD-0 INT (9-17,52%)
          Tim terrific....rtg 120

As for your prediction you contradict yourself. You say donk fans are stupid to jump to superbowl mvp prediction after one game (where he had a great game for a rookie) but it is ok for you to say that he is terrible after one game.....great logic:thumb:

Hopefully Tebow someday can actually make it to the playoffs and perform well there unlike Rivers who consistantly chokes and makes him and his fanbase happy about winning the west every season and crazy talk of winning mvp.

Guy plays one game and plays decent and I gotta hear lame smack from dolt fans and there choking qb. Classic.

A thousand probabilities do not make one fact bolthead, you are making some sweeping assumptions with nothing concrete to base them from except your own vision of what could be. And yes, I am concerned for Tebow's safety when we play the chargers, your team's reputation for cheap shots precedes them.

Tebow already got hurt earlier in the season by thinking he could bring his running game to the NFL level and he can just plow through defense unharmed without even thinking about sliding. How can that be a "sweeping assumption and nothing concrete" when it has already happened? Its not something I just had a vision of.

Regarding the Chargers taking cheap shots at Bronco players tell me the last time a Charger player took a cheap shot at a Bronco player? I can tell you for sure the Broncos have chop blocked the Chargers many many times and this one dude took a cheap ass shot at Ladanian and ripped off his helmet and tossed it like a shotput player down the field. Its not going to take a cheap shot for Tebow to get injured if he continues to try and defy what is logical, and that is to slide and not try to stay upright on every running play.
Please, don't give me that crap. We will never take cheap shots at any players, thats not how the Chargers defense plays and you know it.

Tebow is either going to play smart or play dumb. If he's smart and is serious about a long successful NFL career then he will need to learn how to become a passer first and not a runner.

Merriman (I THINK, mighta been Phillips) took a deliberate shot at Orton's knee at Invesco last season on third down. at the goal line.

Week 17 could be Rivera's audition for us to be our new HC and therefore Tebow's audition to be Rivera's franchise QB. Just an interesting idea.

Charger fans what's your thoughts on Rivera as Broncos HC. We might as well derail this ignorant ass dumpster fire of a thread and turn it into something that resembles intelligent discussion about football.

I agree. I think the Chargers have the #1 defense too. What a blow to them that would be, And what a pickup for us.

It would make for a nice "surrender ritual," too. It would be like Tebow saying "I have broken your defense. You may now be my coach."

I'm not sure Rivera would wanna take on that Job with the lack of talent & the average age of that defense. I'm sure he may get a couple better offers that the situation in Denver.

I meant better offers then what Denver has to offer as far as current roster.

true but i think a HC is more interesting than a DC regarding of the talent of the team

Tim's first quarter in the NFL was incredible. The final 3 quarters was at best luke warm. To use a baseball analogy "lets see what happens the second time thru the league or thru the lineup". After the raiders saw the sprint option and the messed up QB draw Tim didnt do much. We scored 9 points after the element of suprise was used. People will say its the playcalling and blame it on the coaches. They were conservative, but maybe thats all that Tebow could handle. Lets see how he does when the league gets tape on him and takes away everything to the left side of the field and make him work the middle and the right side of the field. Oh and by the way this game was a loss with the defense giving the offense multiple turnovers.
My friends over at Sports Radio Interviews sent me a link to an interview Pat Bowlen did with a Chicago-area radio station. While there is nothing earth-shattering here. Below is a segment of the transcript -

What are the Bears getting in Jay Cutler?

“They’re getting an extremely talented young quarterback.”

Some one Please name me the last successful NFL QB that had to be taught how to throw the ball correctly.
