Wow, that is a lot. It's once every 31.5 attempts. Knowshon gets flamed for fumbling once every 56.3 attempts.

Keep in mind, I like both players a lot. I was very disappointed when we traded Hillis. For some weird reason I seem to be okay with myself for liking both of them.

Hillis fumbles once every 39 touches.

Cleveland is really over working him. If they keep using him like this I wouldn't expect him to have more than one or two more successful seasons. His yards per carry have dramatically fallen off in the last five games.

I think teams are also learning to game plan for the Browns run game. McCoy is doing alright and as he gets better, Hillis will probably see his numbers increase again.

and hopefully for Hillis he can correct whatever is causing the fumbles. Peterson before this season was bad but he seems to have fixed it, and Tiki Barber was notorious for fumbling until he started carrying the ball differently.
