I actually remember cheering for the broncos vs packers. Thats as far back as I can remember though... I've asked my parents numerous times when I first was interested in the broncos and they have no idea... I think it was because of the new logos and how awesome they were at the time... thats why the dolphins were my second favorite team actually... not no more

They've had 5 12+ win seasons, we've had 7.

They've had 14 10+ loss seasons, we've had 9 (6 of those happened in our first 8 seasons, only 3 happened in a 16 game season)


We've had 16 second place finishes in the division, they've had 1

that means either you guys are really good but never great, or really bad

Dont forget since the merger theyve only been playoff worthy 12 times, all of which were when they won the division and have rarely succeeded when another team in the division was also playoff worthy or even possibly better. That says to me that they thrive in poor competition.

Not to mention the fact they have 2 times where they went a decade without any playoffs. Which shows they are really streaky, these 5 years were the worst weve suffered since 1977. As a franchise they just have moments of glory we have had a long history of greatness.

Just the fact every team in the division has a winning record against the Chargers says one thing they are the AFC West punching bags. Not something any franchise wants to be, and now the division is rising again (hopefully we will to) the Chargers will go back to what they once were jokes.

LOL so you didnt know the message board existed till the team was actually any good thats kinda funny how that works lol JK.

I can vouch for baph besides him and jc most other SD fans run from the boards after being embarassed (like they were against the Bengals) he actually comes on more to try and defend his team.

Yeah i had no clue about the boards pre2005 as well... plus i wasn't very old at the time

And yeah most chargers fans would come here now just to protect their name and could point back and say "Remember that time..."
