SD is kind of like with a defense that shows up when the game or PO's are not on the line.

Also it might have something to do with this guy.

the irony is, LT only had 6 TD's this year, which is by far his career low. his previous career low was 10 in his rookie season.

i know that is a different situation in NY but to assume he would have helped us in the redzone this year is far fetched.

mike tolbert was pretty good in the redzone, better than LT was for his team.

Placing it on Rivers is silly. If *I* ever did that, I was doing it because this is the smack section, and that's kinda what you do. (This is partially in response to the choking thread as well).

I think the Chargers are partially overrated by fans and the media. Like NE and Indy, the QB is such a large part of why the team is in the hunt year in and year out, that the team as a whole looks better.

Rivers isn't quite on their level yet, but he is the reason the Chargers are always dangerous.

He's not perfect yet, and he never will be. Nobody is. He's not to Manning or Brady's level yet. He may or may not ever achieve that.

        He is VERY good.

Hmm but this was his first year with a 100 yard rushing game. Just saying. Anyway they also split reps between Shawne Greene and LT no? I don't know too much about the Jets but that's what I saw in the Colts PO game.

Mike Tolbert is a freaking beast. Just be glad you don't have Denver's problems in the red zone lol!!!

who's first year as a 100 yard rusher?

LT was splitting reps in SD as well but he was the go to guy on the goal line. even last year which was his worst year as a charger, he still had 12 TD's.

also, shon green only had 2 TD's himself so its not like he was steeling redzone opportunities from LT.

              fair post as always. :thumb:

i personally don't think he is on peyton manning or tom brady's level either, as far as careers go at least.

but statistically hes been as good as those guys the past few years. at least he still has a long time to prove himself to be one of the best.

              injuries aside of course.
