OK, I had to join the forum since the Broncos are my 3rd favorite team in the AFC West...and I just watched a Tim Tebow interview on ESPN where he came off maybe not as smart as he really is, judging by the sigh and sarcastic comments of the interviewer after it was over...though she did say, "Well at least he gives a good YO ADRIAN" in reference to his Rocky impersonation. Personally I like him...his faith, attitude and abilities, but have doubts...
Will Tebow make it or be another runner who throws at 50% and muscles his teams through some assemblence of a season?
The question seems to be, "Will he correct the basic fundamental flaws of his game required to be a good or great QB in the NFL." These are fundamentals taught in Pop Warner ball, some learn in high school, most become proficient with in college and a some refine in the pros...maybe he can...?? His footwork and throwing technique (certainly important to master) is only part of the reason he is a 50% passer. Certainly he can learn how to read defenses better if his mind/body can adapt and integrate fast enough to be the QB Bronco fans hope he will become.
Players love him and he certainly has an aura of "Win at all cost" which is a definite asset. He does seem a little slow mentally though, or maybe he is just that calm and simple in his remarks. He almost appeared stoned in his interview today. Is that normal for him? Maybe that is just bliss. I am not here to knock anyone for being happy. His interviews appear to be telepromted and that could make him look dumber than he is. If they aren't telepromted I might be worried as a Broncos fan. It is early to tell, but I am curious what you Bronco fans really think.
GO CHIEFS!
