We weren't supposed to make it, supposed to win 4-5 games which we did. Chargers on the other hand, make the SB again, win 12+ games very easy schedule, but didn't.

The playoffs went out the window as soon as Dumervil went to IR. Quick ? baph, who's the one player aside from Rivers that SD can't afford to lose. That was our situation with Dumervil all year. Not saying he is our defense, but we have no one to replace him, and it's clear how much he is missed.

i guess since you were not "supposed to make it" its okay to lose? not only that but you being as a fan of that team makes it okay to smack other teams for missing the playoffs when your team was one of the worst in the league.....

that is just you making excuses for having a horrid defense, with or without elvis you would have had a bad defense. comparing elvis to a QB is just freaking Hilarius man.

you are acting like losing a pass rusher has the same barring as a QB and it simply is not the same thing.

its also not the same as losing troy polamalu either, another bone head comparison i remember you making.

a pass rusher rushes the passer, that's what he does. he doesn't roam the whole field and make plays like troy does.


sometimes people are just wrong, your defense is the worst in the league and losing an elite pass rusher isn't the main reason why, not even close.

i told you in the pre season what would happen and it was worse than anybody (including myself) ever expected.

one last thing, how come your defense wasn't top 5 in 2007 or 2008 with elvis on the field? you know? since having him is like having peyton manning or rivers.....
