It has to be painfully obvious by now that Josh McDaniels had absolutely no eye for talent. Like Baph said in another thread, it's amazing how many Bronco fans think that Tim Tebow was a good personnel decision and worthy of a 1st round draft pick.

Well, Bannan was ok, they may try and re-sign him at a cheaper price. Jamal was due 6.5 mil or something like that.

As for Tebow, he's played 3 games for petes sake. Does he not get more time or is 3 games the limit. Rivers sat for 2 years, so after the end of Year 3 we'll see where Tebow is.

For his 3 games, he showed a lot of promise, far from the bust you make him out to be.

I could easily flip your argument and say the acquisitions of guys like Brandon Lloyd (FA), Perrish Cox (5th round), Syd'Quan Thompson (7th round), Kevin Vickerson (waiver wire), Jason Hunter (waiver wire), etc. shows that he isn't completely clueless and could be right about Tebow.

It's not like Tebow played all that poorly anyways. You guys saw him first hand and we were better off with him against you guys than we were with Orton.

This is either because these folks are truly not seen as good fits for the schemes Fox wants to run - or they are truly unwinding the mess that the McD / Xanders era caused.

Fox is a cover 2 guy and likes fast athletic DT's, they dont fit the new scheme he wants to move the Broncos back to the scheme they had when they were successful before Bates destroyed the Coyer system.

The hard hitting secondary and fast moving front 7 of the 90's and early 2000's was good to the Broncos it may take longer to be an elite team changing schemes this drastically yet it fits Fox best.

Its become public the Broncos offered them a job yet at a cut and they declined so its not like they didnt want to keep them they were to expensive that is all. Xanders is finally doing his job rather then the sign them at any cost position he placed in with McD

not sure if we are improving or not but i gotta believe as a fan that we wont have the worst special teams in NFL history again, that has to help lol

likely having a great offense and defense again gives us chargers fans hope for this coming year. especially if sanders and Mathews can stay healthy and contribute.

either way though, i bet the chargers will be right there at the end of the year and will no doubt be in the hunt for the division.

but i do think Oakland and KC both have a decent shot as well, obviously not Denver though lol
