I know Bronco fans don't want to hear this, but things are not looking good in Dove Valley. Fox's past success was based on a) a strong defense (the Bronco's may have the NFL's worst), b) a strong running game (again, Denver may have the worst in the NFL), and c) a QB who can manage a game (that could be Orton, definitely not Tebow at this stage).

Personally, I think the Broncos are going to screw up this year's draft. Xanders has absolutely no backbone. He let McD walk all over him and he has basically no experience in the draft.....especially at the top of the draft board (not an easy place to be). Elway has even less experience....and, Fox has had zero. Do the math.

Enjoy the dim light in the basement. At least you aren't the Carolina Panthers. (close, but you are a tad better).

How can "McD" walk all over GM Xanders?

Isn't Xanders responsible for the 140 horrible player personnel moves over the last two years? Either Xanders is an idiot....or he let a coach walk all over him.

1- Yes, our defense needs work, captain obvious. It's got nowhere to go but up. Champ is back, DOOM is back, 3 picks in the top 50, FA pickups if there is a free agency among many other things.

2- The running game looked good the 2nd half of the year.

3- QB, depends on the CBA, really. Whether Tebow pans out or not remains to be seen unless you think 3 games determine a career.

4- You think that, you don't know if it will happen. Our 2010 draft was pretty good actually, so quit the assumption.

5- From everything i've heard so far, looks like it will be Fairley or Dareus at #2, what's so hard about picking this high. Tons of great prospects, take the pick.

What makes you think Xanders LET McD walk all over him? McD had the authority/final say on all personnel moves, not Xanders. That's just how it was structured, and McD took free liberty to use it. The Broncos never had a set up like the one in SD where the GM sits equal or higher than the HC in all personnel moves.

And you're right, Fox's past success was based on a strong defense and a strong running game, which is exactly why we brought him here. Are you suggesting that those things were handed to Fox in Carolina, or were there before he started? Fox is the reason they had a good Defense and Running game, which is what we so desperately need help with, and is why he's here.

We are only renting the cellar. But since we are here let me take a look around...

Outside the front door is a Chargers door mat (wow that was redundant).
The siding is a faded power blue with yellow trim.
After a quick look in the kitchen I see some great items, but there is a ton of dust underneith them. Looks like the people that where in here before us where here from a long time and never where able to fill them.
The yard looks like it has had it share of parties, but I can tell be the Orange and Blue party favors that it had to be a neighbor that celebrated in it. The stuff was last used in 97.
The saddest room was the den. In most places this is where people display honors the have received. The only thing I see in here is a ring-ding throphy. Like the ones the fat kid on your Little League team got for "effort". It has the numbers 1963 on it. I wonder what that means. On the desk I found alot of one way tickets; three where for NY while one was to New Orleans. In side the desk was years worth of unpaid power bills. Funny I thought they knew something about electricity. I tired to open one of their window.but it kept slamming shut.

While we my be living here for know, we are just renting. The team that owns the AFC West cellar will be returning soon, and looking at the pick faced driver of the Uhall that is driving down the road at a high rate of speed it is only a matter of time before they return.
