Chargers are in Denial

It's quite sad really. I used to like the rivalry between the Chargers and the Broncos but now all the Chargers seem to do is make excuses. They seem to be in denial just like their fans. I was reading through a thread in the smack talking section where it seemed the Chargers fans only response to Broncos ownage throughout the years was "Well, I know we have 0 lombardis, 0 rings, and only one world championship ring (which our guys got their by using steroids) but hey at least we aren't like you 4-12 Broncos fans.

So here's a thread for you Charger fans to make excuse after excuse. This year it was the Chargers special teams. Last year it was your 1 dimensional offense. The year before that it was making stupid mistakes in the playoffs.

Face it sparkler fans, your team sucks. A.J. Smith even admitted it. You are no longer elite. Facing reality help makes it easier you know.

your teams just flat out sucks. hasn't made the playoffs in 5 years and it looks like they wont be making the playoffs for another 5 ROFL!

funny but what excuse is that for? rivers and the chargers dominated the donks and made cutler cry that game.

that was actually our defense that made him "motion to his groin" after they harassed him all game long.

I feel for the Chargers fans also. It seems as if they are on their way back down. While the Broncos will only get better. The best thing for Rivers to do is leave town like Drew Brees did. Maybe then he will have a chance at being more than a Dan Fouts. He would even have a better chance taking his talents to South Beach. They seem to only be missing a quarterback.

even other broncos fans jumped in and disagreed with you. QB's throw the ball away when there is nowhere else to go with the football.

i know that is a difficult concept for a lesser knowledgeable football fan to grasp, but that is simply how it works in every level of the game of football.

I cant tell you why he does it.......just like I cant tell you why his winning percentage, QB rating, and TD/INT ratio all get worse come playoff time.

If you have ever competed for anything in your life you would know theres time to take chances and times to play smart. Trailing LATE in playoff games is not the ideal time to go into the fetal positon.
Pull a Rivers Baph..... bury your head in the sand and hope next year you can do better.
