Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

While I would feel bad for the fans that have stuck with San Diego through thick and thin, which seem to be few and far between, there have been so many bandwagon, fairweather fans, i wouldn't mind seeing them losing their [I]team[I] at all, but it would suck for the true fans, and i would still make fun of San Diegans, for no championships if their team moves to LA(or anywhere else)
Move or no move San Diego has won Championships. Where have you been?
its looking like the chargers only hope to stay in San Diego is to win a championship this year.
if they did win the SB they may be able to get something done, if not it is looking like they will be gone.
i made this in smack because the chargers forum is dead. but i am curious, will you rival fans be happy if the chargers move to LA?
i know you guys hate the chargers fans in general but do you want to see them lose their team? the fans in San Diego i mean.
whats funny is you cant harp on the SD fans for not winning a super bowl anymore if they move to LA
I'm a long time Bronco fan and remember when the organization was considering moving the Broncos due to lack of (supposedly) fan support and revenue. I'm still angered over the Colt organization back-stabbing the Baltimore fans by moving the team in the middle of the night. I'm still trying to get used to the Baltimore RAVENS and the Indianappolis COLTS. I don't want to see any town/fans lose their team. In the football world towns/fans are associated with their team---if I'm still having a little problem with the Colts thing, I can't imagine things like "the Chicago Packers", "Green Bay Bears", or something like "the L.A. Chargers". I don't hate the Charger fans, in general, only those fans from ANY team that "take it too far". I hope San Diego can keep the Chargers there, because like all of the towns/fans that have had teams as long as they have, deserve it. Besides that I have a son-in-law who lives in San Diego and is a die hard San Diego fan, and if they move the team we won't be able to "badger" each other any more (at least over football things, LOL)
Norv more then likely has 1 leg to stand on right now many believed he was possibly gone last year but the organization decided that firing him meant that they were rebuilding and they were still close to succeeding. If he makes the playoffs this year even if he loses in the first round, I wont expect him to be gone but he is on the hot seat so he needs to perform or else.
Whoever moves to LA will be set up with a beautiful facility. Probably the best stadium and team facility in the league.
So there is always that. Plus likely tri-annual SB's played in LA. Not to mention the players will become big time stars in LA.
So there is alot of perks for whoever goes to LA.
Yeah, every NFL team that's gone to L.A. was a major deal and never went anywhere again........
Oh wait
Chargers
Rams
Raiders
LA was never able to sell out games, and in all likelihood the only teams that would move there wouldn't be very good, save for possibly the Chargers. An expansion team, or ditching the old brand for a new one is more likely, but they would have to build a hometown following so that they could stay relevant.
Honestly I just don't think L.A. is a good market for the NFL. People there aren't that interested. If they were, they would drive the couple hours to see games in SD, but they don't. Hence the blackouts.
