I would like to see a team in Toronto, but because of tax reasons, the Chargers would be doomed to lose any all good players that go to Canada.

Wonder if Alabama would support an NFL team? The Birmingham Chargers. Has a nice ring to it. But they seem to be more into the college thing.

      Or Oklahoma City Chargers

If these were to happen I wonder if they would result in a realignment of divisions?
Please, for the love of all that is right, retract this statement so it can never be thought or heard again...

not hurt in the least sense of the word

more like hopeing to see the bandwagoners and fairweather fans scurrying like roaches when the light turns on looking for their next team and claiming to suddenly be lifelong hardcore fans of the pats or steelers or jets

        wonder who'll still be here

well, me and JC no longer live in SD and will be unaffected by the move, assuming they remain the chargers.

but Riddle me this, if the chargers do move to LA, do you honestly believe those fans will not be just as "fairweather"?

do you believe LA deserves the chargers more than SD does? think about that for just a second.

Chargers are not moving to LA man. Get over it.

When we win the Super Bowl this year that option will no longer exist

            Quote of the year:

It's possible, actually. I live here in SoCal, I know the Chargers are not happy with their stadium situation, and I know if they were to move to LA, they would essentially get a free, brand new, state of the art stadium. Just from moving north a couple hundred miles.

Financially, it makes a lot of sense.

any city deserves the team more than sandiego and its " lets sell our tickets cause its gonna be 65 degrees with a chance of a sprinkle" fans

or the " im a die hard fan, but theres so much to do on sunday besides going to the bolt game, for which im a lifelong hardcore fan...lets just go to the beach...mmmmmk"

there is little enough true support in sandiego to keep a team

Off all the ways to watch/listen to a football game, I find actually GOING to the game the least exciting and least worthwhile. I'd much rather listen to it on the radio and hang out by the pool with some barbeque.

I'll buy a subscription to see the games but I'm not going to the stadium.

2 jerseys, 1 hard hat and I follow the Chargers and football almost every day, even in the off season.

Regardless I still think a city is either for pro or college football, not both and LA is already taken (two times over for that matter).

exactly the attitude that sends a nfl team looking for a new home

its called fan support....teams dont have it ...they move

LA had the same problem with their previous teams, you do know they had teams before, right?

i do think you are emotionally scared from the SD fans, its just a game man. lol

Thankfully there's over 3 million people who can be found to substitute for me in San Diego county alone.

It's called value....If I don't think the product has enough of it at the price it requires....I don't buy it.

If LA makes a deal and San Diego can't/won't, then yes. Same goes for JAX, MIN, and any other team that wont support their team.

well yeah but did you read arapaho's post? he feels the SD fans are too fairwerather and bandwagon and thats why he would be Happy if they left.

again, if he thinks the fans in LA are any different He is kidding himself.

but yeah, if the people in SD don't want the chargers then they don't deserve them, thats just common sense.

its been what? 8 years that they have tried to get a stadium built now? i wont be mad at spanos at all if they move to LA at this point as long as they remain the chargers.

if they change their name and logo, that will be a different story however.

To be honest a move to a cold climate like Min, Pen, or Ill would be far better to generate a solid fan base. The colder climates have better fan bases probably because nobody has anything to do in the winter. Probably not a possibility but a move to LA wouldnt change anything as far as ticket sales in my opinion.

totally agree. if you look at all the warm weather climate teams, they all have the same issues.

although a brand new stadium will definitely help bring in fans, whether that be SD or LA.

just don't put too many seats in or make it to where you can expand to More seats when the playoffs or SB is in town.

i think there is a few newer stadiums that do that so they always sell out lol
