Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

its looking like the chargers only hope to stay in San Diego is to win a championship this year.
if they did win the SB they may be able to get something done, if not it is looking like they will be gone.
i made this in smack because the chargers forum is dead. but i am curious, will you rival fans be happy if the chargers move to LA?
i know you guys hate the chargers fans in general but do you want to see them lose their team? the fans in San Diego i mean.
whats funny is you cant harp on the SD fans for not winning a super bowl anymore if they move to LA
While I would feel bad for the fans that have stuck with San Diego through thick and thin, which seem to be few and far between, there have been so many bandwagon, fairweather fans, i wouldn't mind seeing them losing their [I]team[I] at all, but it would suck for the true fans, and i would still make fun of San Diegans, for no championships if their team moves to LA(or anywhere else)
It's not going to change much even if they do move to LA. It's not like it's too far to drive to see the games, and if nothing else, the SD fans that don't go to the games will get to see it on TV since they wont be blacked out anymore

the city deserves to lose them because they don't back them
and by city, i don't mean the fans, i mean the local government
they chose the padres over the chargers , so be it
i just hope the chargers don't change their name and logo with the move, or i'll have to pick a new team (one that has more titles than the broncos lol)
Not really, SD is a Philip River throw away from LA.
If they were moving across the country or something I could see being a bit upset.
But Chargers were born out of LA.
John Steinbeck said you could never go home, maybe the Jags will end up moving there.
if it didn't mean losing logo and name, i'd be happier with them going anywhere but LA, LA loses teams.....but , it is going to be a new stadium at least, but damn i hate los angeles (the city)

Do you think moving out of the state might be more beneficial, for fans and financially?
I would like to see a team in Toronto, but because of tax reasons, the Chargers would be doomed to lose any all good players that go to Canada.
Wonder if Alabama would support an NFL team? The Birmingham Chargers. Has a nice ring to it. But they seem to be more into the college thing.
Or Oklahoma City Chargers
If these were to happen I wonder if they would result in a realignment of divisions?
I think the move will be inevitable if L.A. goes ahead and builds a stadium.
Dan Patrick was talking on his radio show that the plan was to land 2 teams and have a game every week (like the Meadowlands) to offset the cost of the stadium.
He also said it may be in the NFL's plans to have the Pro Bowl in L.A. instead of Hawaii to play off the Hollywood aspect.
