  • AJ Smith = Josh McDaniels

AJ Smith has allowed Drew Brees, Michael Turner, Ladanian Tomlinson, and Darren Sproles all to walk....

    FOR NOTHING!

I know some chugger fans have said he is the best GM in the league but you can't look at that statement and not be wowed at his inability to get value i.e. picks for those guys. No wonder you are .500 over the last 26.

If there were any doubt that AJ should follow Norv out the door, there shouldn't be now.

    I personally hope they stay

Both let an immense amount of talent walk through the door with nothing in return.

      Both have MASSIVE egos.

Who knows what AJ would do if he were allowed to coach.

Not so sure I am so far off...

Only difference is, Josh will be a fine to great head coach on day, while AJ Smith will be a fail forever.

aj's drafts have been very mediocre the last few years and i would like to have seen some compensation for those players too but its a lil too early to give up on him just yet.........that being said norv needs to go,,,,,it made me sick the day he was hired.....i still feel that way

on a side note...what is a chugger....and how is it considered clever smack.....i dont get it ?

where were you when when the tables were turned?

starting thread after thread now that the Chargers are losing and the Broncos are on a teeny itsy bitsy weedle win streak. Are you kidding me jhill?

Um....I wouldn't go that far. Norv hasn't had a losing season since he's been here. Heck Josh sunk the Broncos in less than 2 full seasons.

I hear you and understand your opinion even though I disagree with it.

AJ forced Cotrell on Norv. That cost your team time. He should have been gone for that alone.

he used to be a damn good GM, but he`s failed to deliver on any backup plans

i don`t consider any of the names you mentioned though as big losses given the scenarios in which they were all allowed to walk away

I spend most my time at another bronco forum. What difference does it make. I have been here every week since the season started.

Says the poster who disappeared when my team was 6-0 and only returned after the final second ticked off in week 17.

This wasn't about the not so elite Rivers nor Tebow. So stick to the point.

The point is AJ is no better a GM than McDaniels. You guys who elevated him to demi-god now have to face reality. I suppose that is harder after 8 seasons or so than our barely 2 under doofus. At least Bowlen aint cheap a la Spanos.

His biggest failure was not to have an adequate backup plan/replacement for Merriman. The LB corp is killing your team.

This aint Norv v Josh, Boltman. Is it that hard for you to figure out? For a person who supposedly does multi-continental business trips, comprehension sure seems to be an issue.

As to this point you are trying to make, pick a side for once. Either it is about winning and meeting expectations (you sure talk about the minor successes your team has had when it benefits) or it is about "not having a losing season."

Your team has, to this point, massively, underachieved. PERIOD. No other way to put it.
