I put this in smack so the haters can hate and the Tebownites can defend

    A few samples

"Tebow is no statistical circus freak winning in spite of himself. Tebow's Broncos are winning because he consistently outperforms the opposing quarterback when you take into account all aspects of production: passing, running, sacks, total touchdowns, interceptions and fumbles. In fact, he consistently outperforms them by a wide margin."

"Tebow's success due to production and protection, not magic"
    "Superior All-Around Production At QB"
    "Tebow's Quietly Historic Production"

    Week 12 -- Denver 16, San Diego 13
Philip Rivers: 77.1 passer rating, 68.8 Real QB Rating
Tim Tebow: 95.4 pass rating, 94.4 Real QB Rating

You're right, 100% made up horse crap.

Just because some Tebow honk developed a new QB rating, doesn't mean the consensus is that Tebow get's all the credit, or that you holding him to a higher standard is any less dumb.

i hold him a second year player to the same standard of rookie first year players and he doesn't match up.

what's dumb is you ignoring everything unless is absolute praise of tebow lol

More making things up and putting words in people's mouth. You can't make a post without making SOMETHING up can you?

Maybe while the Chargers show just how truly terrible they are, you can vacation as a fiction writer.

Your first book can be titled "How Norv and Rivers Created a Dynasty"

You could get BoltMan to illustrate it for you.

I could go dig up the post where you said I was one of the more level headed posters regarding Tebow if you'd like, to show everyone who doesn't know better that you make things up to suit a particular argument or poster.

I know I don't need to dig up posts like this for your education, because you already know what you're saying is BS.

I've never given Tebow 100% credit.

I've always said Tebow needs improvement.

All I've ever said is that it's too early to say it's a lost cause, and that I think it's possible for him to succeed, and that he gets undue criticism for what he is. But because you can't come up with something, you make up crap to try and make yourself look better.

I didn't read that as just giving Tebow the credit all it was was that the passer rating changed to add in rushing attempts yards sacks and fumbles. (which any QB can have happen or do) But one thing that stood out to me was the low numbers the opposing QB's put up which is credit to our D. But all this article is saying is that Tebow out played the other QB on the field, which is true. He hasn't been out played in any except for the Lions game and that was a bad game all around. But the article also points out that its more accurate at picking the winner than the passer rating.

Our D has done a good job at keeping the other teams QB rating down and Tebow doesn't turn it over and doesn't have to play our D so yeah he is going to outplay most QB's because of that. But Credit goes to the D for keeping the other QB's score down.

                Adopted Broncos:
                (2011-2013) Eric Decker
                (2014-2018) Bradley Roby
                (2019-Current) Drew Lock
                Adopted posters:

Well one area where Tebow is the best at is not throwing interceptions. Media like to claim that this is due to him not throwing the ball as much as other QBs but, if you look at it per pass attempt, he still has the lowest ratio than any other QB in the league including Aaron Rogers. The record for TD to Int ratio is 9-1 held by Tom Brady. Well Tebow has 11-1, but if you wanna just judge his passing TDs then it's 8-1. So he's really close to breaking Brady's record that occurred during the year they went undefeated through the regular season.

He has always thrown away from receivers, in the opposite direction of defenders. It makes it very hard for the receiver to catch the ball. BUT... it makes it almost impossible for the defender to try for the ball. That is smart football.

This year, since they have screwed with his throwing motion, he is still doing this, but his aim if off a lot. It's improving though. I'm glad he is still throwing away from defenders. That is never stressed enough with other QB's.

LOL, author creates the Tim Tebow Rating (TTR).

It's a humor column, but I really can't stand the traditional QB ratings. The new QBR is supposed to take clutchness into account but who is more clutch than Tebow? I guess you could argue that turnovers is the stat that best does justice to how he wins.

Oh, also, love that youtube video so much.

                        There has been a lot of credit given to the defense/Prater for winning games for Tebow and giving him the credit. There is some truth to that, but there are other things that shouled be noted in Tebows favour;

In games where the opponents scored less than 33 points the win rate was 90%
In games where the opponents scored 33 points or more the win rate was 0%

When we had the Jay Cutler defenders on board they usually touted that he had a winning record when the defense held the opponents to less than 21 points.

TT threw ugly ducks but the win rates were great no matter where you stand on his religious outbursts

Until teams figured out he comes off his first read and runs left. At that point he lost four out of five.

I can't wait until the day that people no longer feel the need to discuss a player who is never going to be on our team again seriously...get over it, move on! Haters go hate on the jets boards lovers you can go there too....find something better to talk about! There are a billion better things to discuss than some washed up never has been that will probably never play again....get over it and move on!
