Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Tebow is 57 solid minutes of a complete train wreck. I don't buy the hype.
Until I actually see him put a complete game together with his arm and beat winning teams I can't crown him in my mind as franchise QB. Chicago Bears, come on guys, what a trash team. Who can't beat the Bears right now?
I guess I don't understand. I'll take 57 minutes of "garbage" and 3 minutes of "clutch" every Sunday. It is a lot better than the opposite.

It's up to other teams for FORCE him to play solid football those three quarters. His stats would probably be the same in a blowout with garbage time stat piling. Key component is win. Like I said, it's not all Tebow but he deserves credit.
Well beings I'm a Chiefs fan...trading Rivers for Tebow isn't anything I brought up.I believe my original post said I would take Tebow over any of the other AFCW QBs..this was in reply to the thread title.

57 minutes of utter garbage by Tebow. Thankfully the Bears are so screwed up Tebow got another lucky wiin on a silver platter. Do get me wrong, I don't hate Tebow for winning its just hyping us all up over what? Tebow is flat eout not winning games with his arm. Until I see this consistently I'm not buying into the hype that he' a franchise QB
Do these people actually watch the games before they come in here to smack? There was plenty of blame to go around on offense but in the end, Tebow won this game with his arm. Sorry to burst your bubble but that is fact.

Actually he did today. While the Bears gift wrapped the middle of the field, Tebow still had to make some throws. His completion percentage was something like 80-90% during the last two drives.
I haven't seen more than two of these games, and I don't know if it's a combination of the ol prevent defense or what, but Tebow should get a little more credit than the naysayers are giving him... but not TOO much credit lol!

i know my team sucks, regardless if they go on their typical late run yet still miss the playoffs, they still suck.
i just think its funny that anyone would trade rivers for tebow if given the chance.
i don't think any team in the league would do that if put in that situation.
its alright though, everyone has a right to their own hilarious opinions.

Wait a minute baph.....trophy polish is taboo but elbow polish is ok? And BTW I havent been in the smack section for awhile, do i need to submit an application to re enter? I would hate to receive a baph issued citation. I hear those stay on your smack record for 6 months...
All bias and hatred aside, I think most are impressed with what they're seeing thus far, given the low expectations every analyst not named Bayless had. Even baph, although he'll never openly admit it lol
i am impressed with his clutchness at the end of the games for sure. but other than last weeks game (which i didn't watch but he seemed to play well) he has been pretty bad over all.
lets see how he does this week, if he continues to play well then i will really be impressed, if he goes back to playing the way he has all year then i will continue to think he is not a viable starter in the league.
Now you're just going another direction with this...not really addressing anything I've stated..that's okay..I get it...I hate when my team sucks too but I can admit it instead of trying to change the subject...
uhh look at my avi and sig......

Anyhow I am impressed with Tebow..I know it's a team record but that guy is a work horse...no pun intended.I don't see many Bronco games but the ones I have watched..there is no quit in him.
Indeed.

i know you didn't say he was done, i am asking you if you believe that because you must if you are willing to trade him for tebow because of one bad year.
its not like tebow is tearing it up and playing at an elite level. i get that you think tebow is helping his team win this year and rivers is not.
maybe you meant only trade for this year? i took what you said as an actual trade, as in going forward you would trade rivers for tebow.
that's what i thought was odd.
again, unless you think rivers will never play at the level he has his entire career up until this year, then that doesn't make a lot of sense.
