Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I agree, would be nice to win and go in with some momentum instead of back in, i'd like to see a home-playoff game though, it's been awhile.
You're right, it has been a while, but we are not playing good football right now, and if we can't turn it around against the Chiefs we certainly don't want to try to turn it around against the Steelers.
We are not a good football team right now. Our defense hasn't generated a turnover in 3 weeks. Our offense can't sustain drives. Our play-calling has been morbidly predictable, going back to the last quarter of last season (I'm looking at you McCoy). Our ST's are not very good right now either. Unless we turn it around this coming Sunday I don't want to see this team in the playoffs.

Thank you to my grandfather jetrazor for being a veteran of the armed forces!
Personally, I don't care if the Chargers win or lose. Should we not be able to beat the Chiefs we don't belong in the playoffs.
nobody in the afc west deserves to be in....at this point i'd take backing in, if only so the team can get the post season experience....none of the teams are likely to win a game anyway
I just want this young team to get a chance to see what the playoffs are all about. Even if its by default with Oakland losing to San Diego. That was something my high school coach did with the underclassmen when we made the postseason. He'd let them travel and suit up on the sidelines so they could feel what it was all about and get a sense of the environment. It makes you want to get there again. You get hungry for it and you understand it's achievable. Deserving or not it's about getting the experience.
Let's NOT forget, despite the last few games, this teamis worked hard to get into this position. They've fought through some adversity and I can honestly look at the situation and be happy considering they were written off after the "switch", again after the Detroit loss, and now. They put themselves in a good enough position to be able to loose one or two and still have a shot. I would rather the situation be different but eventually they were going to play like the young, rebuilding, team they are.
if you have to count on the chargers winning their game just so you can make the playoffs then you don't deserve to be in the playoffs IMO
win your own game and go to the playoffs or don't go at all.
I agree, but i'd like to get in just so some of our young guys can get the taste of it, but yeah, i'd get in with a win over backing in and go in with some momentum.
It wouldn't shock me to see SD win this game. Now that there is nothing on the line for them. All the pressure is on the Raiders to win to maybe get the division or a wild card. SD can free wheel it and gamble more then maybe they would in normal circumstances.
I do agree though that Denver shouldn't even have the score of the Chargers game on the board and just take care of their own business.
