You forgot to include my "yep Orton sucks" after his first preseason game for Denver, for the record 12-21 says we were correct in our assesment of Ortons ability to lead this team.

and i guess none of the facts regarding the whole situation matter

such as the broncos finaly had a qb with the skill level and arm of elway...finaly had that franchise qb, a 25 yr old probowl qb leading a very young offense

only to watch him traded for picks and kyle orton...the same orton who did nothing in chicago...same orton who could not beat out grossmen or griese

there was plenty of scepticism concerning orton...rightfully so
there was planty to dislike about his game...the redzoned %, the 3rd down numbers....the scoreing offense standings...the feeble feignt at the first sign of contact...

he played himself into much of the dislike....his record over his last 22 games shows why, 4-18....can we really be happy with an 8 yr vet who is terrible in the rz, terrible on 3rd down, and absalutly hideous if the bronco were down in the 4th

many many people supprted him....many gave him the benefit of the doubt...many made excuses for him...just as many as seen him for what he was

in the end most of those supporters knew he wasnt the answer and jumped in the wagon of those of us that already knew what he was

all we have now is tebow...so if some wanna fully supprt a young raw qb

No need to run, it's true, he is however, young and still has potential to get better. Will he? Time will tell I suppose, I can be more patient with a QB we all knew needed work, than an established veteran, who couldn't lead a team.
