I'll never understand how someone can say they like Basketball but not like Tennis.

Maybe it has to do with people thinking they are born with their likes when in reality it's a matter of being conformed.

Tennis is really easy to get into and very intense. I think most people that say they dislike it probably know little about it and haven't given it a TRUE chance...

Because to like Basketball and NOT like Tennis? That makes no sense.

Lol and this is kind of funny...mean man!

No.... According to World News Ukraine there was 13.8 billion people that watched it.

So even if you say MMA/UFC>Boxing (don't agree) it doesn't matter since it will never overtake Golf, NBA, MLB, NFL etc etc.

I don't know why you troll about Boxing when I've provided enough facts (ppv, views etc) to show it is still big worldwide.

Anyway we all have different opinions and you know what they about opinions....

Don't know if you knew it or not, but MMA isn't just big in the U.S.

It's one of the biggest sports in Japan if not the biggest. Every heard of Pride fighting? It's legendary in Japan.

Also Canadian loves MMA. Outside these 3 every other country prefers soccer.
So maybe boxing is just big in Ukraine because it's not big anywhere else.

The biggest most watched sport in the world is soccer, every other sport is just another sport and not cared for.

Boxing has more in common with WWE than UFC. In UFC the outcome is determined by the fighters. In WWE and boxing, the outcome is predetermined. I used to be a boxing fan, until I paid for 1 too many fights with bullsh&t, corrupt, decisions. Boxing is dead in this country. No good heavyweights, and you can't even get the 2 best fighters to fight each other.

                  MLB: N/A
                  Golf: 40 million (1997 Masters)

WWE: 25-30 million (1999 six man tag)
                  UFC: 6.51 million (2008 Kimbo)

                  Boxing vs. WWE/UFC (PPV buys):

                  1. Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather, May 2007 - 2.4 million PPV buys

                  2. Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield (rematch), June 1997 - 1.99 million PPV buys

                  3. Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis, June 2002 - 1.97 million PPV buys

                  4. Mike Tyson vs Holyfield (1st match), November 1996 - 1.59 million PPV buys

                  5. Mike Tyson vs. Peter McNeeley, August 1995 - 1.55 million PPV buys

                  6. Oscar De La Hoya vs. Felix Trinidad, September 1999 - 1.41 million PPV

                  7. Evander Holyfield vs George Foreman, April 1991 - 1.40 million PPV buys

                  8. Mike Tyson vs. Frank Bruno, March 1996 - 1.37 million PPV buys

                  9. Pacquiao vs. De la Hoya, December 6, 2008 – 1.26 million PPV buys

                  10. Pacquiao vs. Cotto, November 14, 2009 – 1.25 million PPV buys

2011 (both Manny and Floyd had matches that sold 1.2 million+)

                  WWE/UFC:

                  WWE:

                  Wrestlemania 27: 1 million

                  2011:

                  1. UFC 129: GSP Vs Shields – 800,000 PPV Buys

                  2. UFC 141: Lesnar Vs Overeem – 750-810,000 PPV Buys

                  3. UFC 127: Silva Vs Belfort – 725,000 PPV Buys

                  4. UFC 135: Jones Vs Rampage – 520,000 PPV Buys

I think the bottomline is this...WWE/UFC is a joke. No one watches it and no one cares about.

You do know that in England and most of Europe and South America that UFC fights aren't PPV and are free . So to say that because boxing has more PPV it is a bigger sport is a joke, MMA is the fastest growing sport.

Agree with almost all of your post, but you don't think Wlad is at least a good heavyweight? David Haye dominated the Cruiserweight division (I know, I know. Big deal. But he did.) and Wlad made him look like a circus clown. Why? The guy's jab can knock you out. His straight right hand is extremely fast, and can knock you out. He puts the two together, and just for good measure, he turns the jab and straight into hooks quite well. Yeah, that will knock you out too. I'm telling you, after Wladimir hits a guy with his jab, the guy is having a real hard time concentrating on the right behind it. Nobody can beat him right now, because Steward has trained him to decapitate people with those punches before they can get close enough to do any damage. He's a good heavyweight. Like it or not. He doesn't have a great chin, but neither did Floyd Patterson or Michael Moorer. He isn't flashy either. I think that's the problem. The Heavyweight division is probably at an all time low right now, but don't hold that against the Klitschko brothers too much.

All the mma fans have already destroyed your statement about the ufc being a joke so ill just say this.
Boxing as a whole is extremely boring.
Mma is all phases of fighting not just two numbskulls blasting eachothers face in with 10 pound gloves .
Its called evolution and boxing will remain in the past where it belongs.

You may find it boring, and you're entitled to your opinion, but I guarantee you will never see anything like this in UFC:

                        Never.

Too bad 99.9999% of boxing matches are 100 times more boring than that

                          Cool ending though

Atleast 3 comebacks like that happened in the ufc last year and they didnt take a whole minute .. It was a about a 10 second turnaround that ended in a knockout.
Here are 2 that i can think of right off the top of my head.
                              Cheick kongo vs. Pat berry

                              Tim Boetsch vs. Yushin okami
