Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

How did Denver manage to squander 4......yes FOUR, 1st round draft picks in 2009 and 2010 and not end up with their future QB.
Easy answer - Josh McDaniels running the draft. While getting rid of Cutler was a bad decision, the true atrocity of it all is how we made poor use of the picks.
Truth is the second we got rid of Bates Cutler was out the door, but yes thanks to the idiot Executive who gave a man who never drafted anyone complete control of the picks, the ship was sunk.
Ill admit 3 first round picks waisted in a 2 year span is bad but as far as mid and late level picks go that isnt as bad as the Chargers waisting 2 early 1sts an early second and an All Pro on an idiot who cant got 4 days without being arrested for burglary.
We waisted a 1st round pick on Cutler and got nothing out of it for a few years then traded him and got Tebow who we did get something out of, all in the time span it took the Chargers to fall all the way to #1 with one of the worst seasons in NFL history.

Yeah Bunkley might be the only player we can claim who walked away but still he was not worth what the Saints paid, not for a guy with one good year (during a contract year)
I think PM has every chance in the world of being successful here. We got Craig Morton and we went to the Superbowl The same and better can very well be in store for us with manning. And the big difference is Elway is in charge here he aquires players and coaches here to improve and better our chances of getting there ---AJ is in charge there and he does the opposite for his team unless of course New Orleans is paying him
AJ is a profit first GM, thats his bottom line, Elways bottom line is winning, though Xander has stated he wants to keep this team from having cap issues, so our front office is balanced.
Its hard to have a profit in SD since noone goes to the games unless they are fans of the other team lol, so I feel for AJ he has a tough job
The raiders bottom line is anyway they can stick it to the Broncos do it, then the chiefs, then the chargers do it, after that winning is priority. Granted Elway stole the catch phrase which is not TMed by the Broncos so it goes both ways
Its hard to ever know what the Chiefs are thinking, they throw darts at the board half the time and change directions completely from what they were doing before.
