Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Typical for who? Baph...you..other chargers fans.. "Rivers didn't choke we were the road team most of those games. We were not the Favorite" lol
how is losing to a team that is supposed to beat you a choke? well, if you get totally embarrassed by them and fall flat on your faces, like Denver did against NE, i guess you can call it that.
countless donk fans refer to every single chargers loss in the playoffs as a "choke" yet when Denver does it, its not a choke?
credibility you say? consistency? you guys lack both.

come on bap...try to regain some cred here
we were an 8-8 team....on the road...against a team that rarely ever loses at home, the home team was heavy heavey favorites....nobody gave us a chance.....how the hell was that a choke
when your the favorite...got the odds...homefield advantage...winner of eleven straight games, with a seasonsed probowl qb...playing a rookie hc, with a rookie qb on a team that wasnt even aware they made the post season .............and get beat....thats a choke
sigpic
when do native Americans become human and not mascots
In sports, a "choke" is the failure of an athlete or an athletic team to win a game or tournament when the player or team had been strongly favored to win or had squandered a large lead in the late stages of the event.
Since we werent even supposed to make it in the playoffs by so many people, and had one of the lowest odds of making it past round 1 ild say we were not favored, nor did we lose a large lead, and thus did not choke. SD on the other hand is supposed to easily win the division and they havent in the last 2 years, they were supposed to win the SB and time after time they fell flat in the first round. They had a few seasons where they met expectations, except when they choked against the Jets.
Rivers is the greatest choke artist ive seen in a long time, we choked 2 years ago, before that most didnt expect much from the Broncos we fell short but as far as choking we leave that to you. Losing misserably is when your expected to do so is not a choke, it maybe an epic fail and even an a blowout but not a choke. Yes Bronco fans are SB or bust, and we are considered a franchise to place some of the largest pressure on our players, but outside the fanbase even this year most people think we have to many holes to go far.

Meh. We fell flat in the playoffs sure. Choke? Not so much... that would imply that we were expected to go far. Plus, i think our successes led to the signing of peyton manning. If Peyton Manning plays anywhere near the caliber he has in the past we will be laughing at the festering corpses of our afc west rivals as we dance into the playoffs every year :thumb:
That shouldn't be too difficult......8-8 won the division last year...! Go 9-7 most years, and it's almost a sure thing the AFC West winner will get to play a PS game...!
Pardon me, but shouldn't Bronco fans be expecting a little more than that?
