I like Ingram but I still think he's better as a 4-3 DE. He didn't perform great at the combine in the LB drills and I think he's a natural DE that can slide inside to DT on passing downs.

I think that about Coples as well so it will be interesting to see how they both do

why is he better suited for the 4-3? and i have seen many people that disagree that he didn't look good in his drills at the combine.

Ingram is easily athletic enough to play LB in a 3-4 scheme and is more versatile than a lot of guys that play OLB in a 3-4 defense.

In college he played as a DE, occasionally moving to DT, so we don't know if he can play as a LB.

Its just personal opinion of what I saw in college. He would of been perfect in a 4-3 front, being moved around the line.

He's a good player so he will do decently wherever he plays, my question is playing as a LB next season can he be a contender for DROY and play REALLY well or will he just be a 'solid' player.

It will be interesting to see.

I don't think you can compare the 2. I like Ingram but I don't think he's in the Von Miller class, who could really dominate next year.

There's a reason VM went #2 and Ingram fell to SD
