i just don't think you are too familiar with what the chargers have done this off season or you have decided to ignore everything positive they have done, which one is it?

also, hillman is a "change of pace" back, not your future at running back LOL!! you will need someone else to replace mcgahee.

if all the chiefs did was find a decent QB they will be the best team in the division in a few years. in those same few years the broncos will be a completely different team offensively. to bank on manning being there in 4 years is just amazing to me, the dude will be 40 years old then and he already has had health issues.

    good luck with that.
Like I said, Willis is only 30. We need a replacement within the next 3-4 years.

We didn't put all our eggs into the PM basket. We drafted a QB in round 2 to learn behind him and then take over in 3,4,5 years.

I think the Chiefs roster if over-rated anyway. Especially giving away their best CB and their only weapon, Bowe, will be gone in a year or 2.

Only need to find a decent QB ? Thats very very hard to do unless they can get a top 5-10 pick. Or you take a chance like we have with Osweiler, but at least he has the rare chance of sitting and learning before being thrown in

I think it was Mark Twain who said, "Put all your eggs in one basket, and watch that basket!" Considering the cap space the Broncos had I think they did a poor job building a support cast for Manning. Tamme is missing 3 inches and 30 pounds, and letting Royal walk for the pittance SD gave him was a serious blow.

I don't buy into the whole "one hit and manning is done" shpiel that is going around (and boy is it everywhere, all they were talking about at the sportsbooks in Vegas). Manning was on the Brett Favre play-to-40 track and I bet he's still on it. It is concerning however that even the Broncos organization decided to go after some insurance/the future rather than go "all-in" on Manning during the draft.

The BIGGEST mistake the Broncos made this off-season? Was Elway showing Timmy the door by grabbing his face and pushing him out. In doing so, the Broncos won the bad karma lottery.

the chargers had a lot of holes to fill and they also had a lot of guys they needed to resign. you might think its nothing to get exited about but there is quite a few of those holes that would not be filled if we resigned Jackson to a huge contract.

a lot of those guys were starters or key rotation guys last year. not only that but some would argue that our receiver core is better this year as a whole than it was last year with Jackson.

considering the success we have had in the past without Jackson i would rather have more depth at receiver with royal and meachem, as well as resigning a bunch of guys we needed, than sign Jackson to a huge deal.

the chargers offense does not live and die through any one receiver, i didn't like to see him go but now after seeing that we used that cap space to our advantage, i think it was definitely the right choice.

The best thing Norv did was help Rivers. He's a good QB coach and OC but not HC.

I'm sure Rivers is capable of working with another coach.
i agree with the bolded and think norv should have been fired along with AJ smith but the fact remains, rivers and other chargers players campaigned to keep norv and that is the main reason why he is still there.

i wasn't happy that we kept norv and AJ but at least AJ finally made some good decisions and actually improved our team this off season, so it hasn't been a total loss.

i don't think AJ is a bad GM, he just has that huge EGO and bad reputation that prevents most good HC's from coming to SD, even if they did fire norv.

its ridiculous and annoying that your freakin GM has an EGO bigger than the HC and most of the players, which he does.

It will be an interesting division. All 4 can win it, although I make the Broncos and Chargers front-runners.

I think the Chiefs are a little over-rated. I don't like Cassell, I hated the Poe pick, and Charles is coming off a big injury. Cassell just doesn't scare me at all.

The Raiders are a little thin both sides of the ball but IF McFadden stays healthy all season, Palmer has a good season adna receiver or 2 steps up then maybe then can challenge

You Bronco fans would LOVE to see Rivers go wouldn't you?
Cut the nonsense already. Are you really that obsessed with Rivers getting a ring? What do you care? I think its because of your seething hate of him and the fact that he's been a torment to the Broncos and their fans. Sorry Rivers ain't goin anywhere anytime soon (as much as you'd like to see him go).
Sorry Denver Haters...I've been on an extended business trip....:middlefinger:
